It was a great stay located a walk away from shops, the beach and lots of places to dine. It was clean and comfortable. The TV was great with access to many apps and channels as well. Checking in was good, with easy communication to the host.

We were so looking forward to staying here for a family weddingUnfortunately this was a very upsetting experience from the minute we stepped into the propertyOnce inside the hall we were met with an extremely unpleasant smell coming from a laundry bag on the floor and hall was partially blocked by a trolley Once inside the flat we were happy with the size but as we looked around we noticed just how dirty it was in each roomEvery room was very dusty to the point where previous guests had left their name in the dust on the lamps, windowsills had dead bugs or debris on them including next to where sleeping and bed heads dusty, daughter has asthma and dust was a risk The walls in the lounge / kitchen had large drip marks all over and dirty door framesBathroom had extractor fan full of dust and a broken hinge on the toilet seat and a bathroom door that wouldn’t close fully In the kitchen dirty glasses, pans We contacted host and stay immediately who informed me they could not send anyone to clean itWe had no choice but to find alternate accommodation further away and rely on extra costs for taxisI am still awaiting a full refund nearly a month later and do not feel supported by either Vrbo or host and stayI can see other guests mentioned the dirt in reviews now I look and don’t understand why they aren’t doing something about this, they have not acknowledged the extreme stress and upset this caused Saltburn is a lovely place and this flat is in a good location

An honest review. Loved the look of this apartment and it's location. There was a stale smell as you enter the first door down stairs. The apartment itself was a good size and looked good on first glance. Negatives, it was clear that this did need a freshen up with painting and definitely needed a good clean.The bathroom had mould all around the bath and taps (mould remover would sort in 5 minutes) floor around the toilet, dirty. Stains in the toilet and impractical bath and sink. If your under 5"4 you'll need a step to have a shower. Sink you can just about wash your hands in and mind your head when brushing your teeth. Wall's around the apartment needed cleaning and a paint. After all that, would i stay again yes. But i hope they take this constructive criticism and act on it.Great location and size.
