Ian was very helpful. Nice park for walking nearby. Washing machine available with all that we needed. Without a dryer doing large amounts would be difficult with just drying racks. We were without a car and having one would have been most helpful. A nice welcome pack of snacks was a nice touch. Thank you Ian.

Wir wurden nett empfangen. Die genauigke mit dem FrĂŒhstĂŒck stimmt nicht. Ich denke, dass die Übersetzung da einfach nicht korrekt ist. Man wird mit einigen Zutaten empfangen,so dass daraus ein FrĂŒhstĂŒck gemacht werden kann.

Easy check in, property is located in a nice, quiet area of the City, close to the Common. Nearby bus stop gives easy access into the city. The property is exactly as you see in the photos, well equipped, clean and tidy. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and would definitely stay again. Beautiful

Amanda and Ian’s place is truly beautiful with its ocean blue decor, so appropriate for a seaside city. I was welcomed with some food basics and the assurance of the availability of laundry detergent. They were extremely responsive to all my questions and rescued me when a grocery delivery went awry. The place is within walking distance of the University of Southampton in a quiet neighborhood. I can’t recommend this lovely place highly enough. *Please note that those with physical limitations may struggle a bit with the steps to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom and getting in and out of the tub/shower. But other than that, the Lighthouse was truly, truly lovely. Amanda and Ian are amazing hosts with a true gift of hospitality!

Fabulous little property!

We had a lovely break at the Lighthouse last weekend. Beautifully presented, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and plenty of storage space for a longer stay. The breakfast essentials and chilled drinks were a lovely touch - thank you! Super-clean and tidy and located in a lovely quiet road. Hope to be back for a return visit when we are next in the area.

Wonderful hosts and home

Our hosts were great communicators, helpful, and so friendly. We have never seen such an effective and efficient use of space as this lovely home. Perfect location for us, easy to get to, off street parking, quiet and so very well equipped. Thank you for the lovely welcome basket! We will definitely be booking with Ian and Amanda again.

It's a great city with lots of green open spaces and easy access to numerous pubs and restaurants.
We built our accommodation during lockdown and look forward to welcoming guests to our quiet corner of the city.

Incorporating it's own dedicated entry door, off road parking and outdoor seating area.

At the end of the road is a bus stop with routes to Southampton city centre with its shopping, cultural centre, theatre, nightlife and in the opposite direction the historic city of Winchester.
Ideally positioned between Southampton Common 100 yards south and Southampton Sports Centre 0.25 mile north and
The accommodation is fortunately walking distance from numerous local pubs, restaurants and cafes.
