Situated just outside the picturesque village of Yattendon, Manstone Cottage is surrounded by beautiful views of rolling country side. Spacious and elegantly furnished, with private parking the cottage is the ideal get away for couples, families or small groups. Within walking distance of the village with it's fantastic pub, shop, cafe, brewery and beauty salon you won't have much need to go far but it's also well situated for access to Newbury, Hungerford, Goring, Pangbourne and Henley.

Really nice, comfortable property in a lovely quiet area with great views of the countryside all around. Nearby of village of Yattendon a great place for lunch or dinner.

Idyllic Escape to the Country

We spent a week of July at this property and were blown away by the beauty of the location. The cottage is very pretty with the kitchen and living room upstairs to take advantage of the views. Georgie, our host was excellent, replying to messages in super quick time, introducing herself to us in person but never intruding. We can’t recommend this property highly enough and have already booked our next stay.

Superb cottage.

Fabulous cottage with everything a family might need for a wonderful holiday. Lovely attention to detail, tasteful, cosy and welcoming. Even toys for our 8 month old granddaughter. In beautiful countryside this cottage is a home from home.

A lovely cottage, nicely decorated and very well equipped. Surrounded by countryside so peaceful. Georgie was very easy to communicate with. The weather was terrible, but that didn’t matter as we were all cosy inside. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Lovely quiet location. Pretty cottage. On one side you look out across trees and farm fields, the other backs onto the owners spacious garden.There is a small semi private patio/grassed area to the front of the cottage. Welcoming, clean, light, and comfy accommodation.Short walk to a very nice pub.Georgie popped over to welcome us which was lovely to say hello.Easy to unwind in such surroundings. We enjoyed our relaxing stay very much. Thank you.

Better than described in every way

This was the last leg of a long European vacation. We wanted to unwind and use the time as the proverbial vacation after vacation. It could not have been better! The location is sublime, the house gorgeous and the owners friendly and welcoming. Thankyou so much for the use of your incredible space and facilities.

A little underwhelming for the price

Great location… Wasn’t as clean in places as could have been… Main thing was owners were away for the 4 days and internet only worked for a few minutes here and there…no way to resolve and nothing offered some form of compensation as I missed some work commitments …reliable fast WiFi is not a luxury like 20 years ago it should be standard …honesty in listing…I’d rather someone say “we are in the countryside and might be….” Rather than promising super fast or other…maybe sites need to list upload and download speeds which are easily attainable…as said nice location but not if you are wanting to stream or work or rely heavily on a decent wifi…

I’m so sorry that you had poor internet during your stay, we had issues with the supply onto the property at the time which we had no control over and these only arose while we were away. These issues have been resolved now and we have super fast internet again. I’m also sorry you felt it wasn’t as clean as you expected, we have always taken great care to ensure the cottage is spotlessly clean so we will address this with our cleaners. Ein wundervoller Urlaub in der englischen Countryside

Wir haben zwei herrliche Wochen in dem süßen, ruhigen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Cottage verbracht! Man kann von dort aus schöne Spaziergänge machen und viel unternehmen. Wir haben es sehr genossen!! Alles sehr unkompliziert und entspannt!
