L'été à la montagne!

De beaux planchers de bois franc à l'étage, des accents de pin noueux partout, foyer de roche naturelle avec foyer au gaz crée un cadre de cabine confortable.

Spacieuse grande salle ouverte avec 2 grandes tables Ă  manger assis 12 + et une table de billard. Cuisine gastronomique entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e oĂč les chefs peuvent participer Ă  toutes les grandes activitĂ©s et conversations de la salle.

2 grandes suites maĂźtres identiques Ă  l'Ă©tage et au rez-de-chaussĂ©e - avec lits king size, salles de bain privĂ©es avec double vasque, douche et bains Ă  remous. Au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, Master a un grand dressing, Ă  l’étage, un porte-manteau et une table pour les vĂȘtements des invitĂ©s.

La 3Úme chambre a un lit queen, la 4Úme chambre a deux ensembles de lits superposés - un lit superposé double et un lit superposé de taille normale. En bas salle de bonus a une couchette double ainsi.

Les trois salles de bains ont des planchers de tuiles chauffés, un régal pour les journées d'hiver fraßches.

La double salle de bains supplĂ©mentaire d'Ă©vier en bas a une grande douche de double tĂȘte. Cette douche a un sauna Ă  vapeur complĂšte.

La salle de jeux en bas a un bar, mini-frigo, table à manger, ping-pong, baby-foot, chaßne stéréo et TV. Une évasion parfaite pour les enfants.

Barbecue en acier inoxydable disponible sur le pont (si la neige le permet).

Longue allée privée presque plate - Garage 2 voitures. Les revers à tous les voisins offrent une grande intimité. AccÚs aux sentiers de randonnée en espace ouvert derriÚre la cabine et dans tout le quartier.

Des laissez-passer sont fournis pour l'accÚs aux installations de l'association Tahoe Donner, moyennant des frais quotidiens par personne. Exemples: centre d'entraßnement entiÚrement équipé, piscines, bains à remous, plage de Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner Association Trout Creek Centre est à 6 minutes.

Host was super communicative. Property has a nice backyard area great for playing in the snow and mini sled rides. Tom heated the hot tub so it was good to go when we got in. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

All around great rental!

We were impressed with every aspect of the rental. Location to ski resorts, proximity to Hwy 80 (safer), very well stocked house and kitchen, well heated (dual thermostats and heated bathroom tiles!), and of course friendly and responsive hosts. Would love to visit again!

Our family of 10 - 6 adults, 4 kids - had a great summer vacation at the Cozy Copenhagen cabin. It checked all our boxes - long driveway and flat street for the kids to ride bikes, flat back yard in the woods for the kids to safely explore, a rec room for the family to enjoy puzzles, ping pong, fusbal, a great hot tub and pool table, a work out area, and close to a trail head for hiking. The kitchen was superbly equipped for a large family; sleeping arrangements were great; the home was well maintained and in perfect working order. The hosts were very responsive and professional and detail oriented to provide us all the information we needed. We'll definitely be back!

Great space for two families!

This is an incredible home for multiple families visiting the Tahoe area. The layout is wonderful and has plenty of space to spread out across two floors, including a "play room" where the kids can hang out downstairs. There is plenty to do - hot tub, pool, games, etc. The hosts were also incredible, sending more useful and detailed instructions than we've ever received in our 10 years renting in this area. We will definitely be back!!!!

Amazing stay

The house had a well-stocked kitchen, a lot of amenities for entertainment and a very nice hot tub. Everything was in great condition and worked well. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were able to sled near the house. It was by far the nicest vacation rentals we've stayed in Truckee. We'd love to come back again soon.

Great for multiple families

This cabin was a great fit for two families. The two en-suite primary bedrooms allowed for a comfortable stay for the parents. And the kids loved the separate “hang out” space downstairs with ping pong, foosball, and plenty of space to play. It was a great set up for everyone to have fun and enjoy there time at the cabin.

A fantastic stay!

The owner was super nice and responsive when we first had an issue with the Wi-Fi network, which was recently updated to a faster router, but the instructions were still for the previous one. This house is very well equipped, and we like cooking so it was pretty delightful to be able to enjoy preparing good food! It has a pool table, ping pong, and the best fussball table I've ever played on. All and all, a great stay!

Exactly What We Were Looking For

This beautiful cabin is exactly what we were looking for when booking a vacation with another family. The two master suites were perfect for the two couples, and the extra rooms with queen beds and bunks were great for our combined 4 adult children. The cabin was spacious and clean in a quiet neighborhood. The pool table, ping pong table and foosball table provided plenty of entertainment for the 8 of us. We had as much fun at the cabin as we did taking in all the activities that the area had to offer. We were all sad to leave!

Three generation ski vacation

We very much enjoyed this well equipped home. There was space for everyone and two great party rooms. The hot tub was clean and worked great. We were a little concerned about the sloping long driveway to the garage, but the salt put out in the morning took care of that. The owners kept us informed regarding care in a storm and we had fun relaxing time. The boys had great fun sliding down the side of the house after a foot of snow was dumped.

great host and perfect getaway

let me start off by saying we chose the worst weekend to visit Truckee. it was a blizzard all weekend and we saw the sun for about two hours the whole time there. the McConnell’s were amazing hosts!! He kept me and my family updated on the drive up there as well as making sure we’d get there and on property safely. So thank you for that. Most hosts don’t really think about the road conditions and even go as far as communicating with us the best roads and updates on road closure. The property was big and spacious for my family and I. We had a great time. Our children were able to sled down on the side of the house while being stuck in for a bit. The host also gave us informative instructions on how all things are used in the binder for the property. All in all we were very satisfied. Thank you.

Great place for family gathering

Enough space for our families to gather for meals and for teens to bond in the game room. The extra bunk in the game room worked well for two youth to split from the bunk room. The kitchen was extremely well stocked as we cooked most meals for the 11 of us. Would definitely book again.

Superb!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for our Winter ski break. The home was far above and beyond the description and photos on VRBO. Very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Kitchen was outfitted for cooks and big gatherings, big TV's had access to Netflix and other streaming services, pool table and pingpong for after skiing, beds were super comfortable. The two identical master suites were perfect for our two families, with 3 other bedrooms for the kids to spread out. The owner went out of his way to make sure the driveway was plowed, with access to the garage--Thank you! Plenty of room to find a private space for quite time alone, or convene in the great room to socialize in front of the fireplace. Owners communicated well and were very helpful if we had questions. We will definitely come back.

A true home away from home with welcoming owners

This house was perfect for our winter break trip with three families. Tom and Allison’s home is well-stocked, updated and inviting. You can tell they run their VRBO as if they live there. The kitchen amenities were impressive, the house was clean and the location was convenient to Tahoe Donner, Alpine and Squaw. Tom and Allison were highly responsive and welcoming. We will come back again!

A perfect get away!!

The house was fantastic, perfect size for the 10 of us.!! Beautiful, clean, beds super comfortable and very well stocked. We had a blast with all the amenities: pool competitions, ping pong tournaments, foosball challenges. Close to resorts and Truckee, perfect location. The owners were very responsive and communicative. We go to Tahoe almost every winter and have stayed in many different places, this was one of the best!! Will definitely be returning. Tahoe Donner Cabin

My family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stat at this cabin. It was clean, in a beautiful location, and has great amenities including pool table, ping pong table, steam room, and gas grill. The property owner was very helpful and the check in process was very easy. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Truckee/Tahoe area.

Active couple that love to travel but most of all spend time when we can up in the Tahoe area. We love to ski and bike - hard for us to decide what we like best - summer or winter in the Truckee area.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This property had it all for us - privacy, large great room, and space to spread out for the kids. My brother and I rented a cabin in Tahoe Donner the Christmas before we bought this place and it had 2 master suites - it made it very easy for the 2 of us to have our families there and we didn't have to fight over who got the master bedroom. When we saw this cabin was available with the same feature it really stood out for us.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Long relatively flat driveway was something we were really looking for - we had experiences at other cabins with steep driveways and we didn't want to have to deal with that. We have a great plow service but keep in mind - Truckee can get some big storms and the plow services can only come once a day so there are no guarantees the snow will be cleared at the exact time you want to get in our out - this is part of the experience and adventure of being up in snow country.
