Bien que les dĂ©tails de la liste soient fournis, des questions m'ont Ă©tĂ© posĂ©es. OUI, le fourgon de queue a une salle de bain totalement fonctionnelle et amĂ©nagĂ©e, dans le silo adjacent (voir photos et commentaires). OUI, le fourgon de queue est climatisĂ© et chauffĂ©, avec chaleur uniquement en silo. Oui, il y a de l'eau chaude dans la salle de bain. OUI, il n'y a pas un mais deux tĂ©lĂ©viseurs LCD HD avec une gamme complĂšte de chaĂźnes DirectTV, ainsi que Netflix et d'autres services de diffusion en continu. Autres affaires - Pas plus de 2 adultes, DEUX NUITS MINIMUM, pas d'enfants, pas d'animaux, non-fumeur, pas de fumeurs, pas de rĂ©ductions jamais accordĂ©es. Aucune exception jamais! Je ne rĂ©pondrai pas si vous Ă©crivez pour demander des exceptions. ---- Maintenant, les bonnes choses: SituĂ© Ă  seulement un mile du fabuleux lac Burton, notre voiture de collection C & O millĂ©sime 1929 vient de subir une restauration et une mise Ă  niveau de fond en comble, avec des nuances de voitures de luxe Pullman d'antan. Aucun dĂ©tail n'a Ă©tĂ© ignorĂ© pour permettre une expĂ©rience d'escapade vraiment unique. (Figure de style. Le fourgon ne va nulle part) Bien qu’il soit adjacent Ă  notre magasin d’antiquitĂ©s devenu aussi historique, Black Bear Creek Antiques, vous aurez beaucoup d’intimitĂ© et d’espace pour vous appeler; entrĂ©e privĂ©e, parking rĂ©servĂ©, cascade et Mountain Spring Creek Ă  20 mĂštres seulement, accĂšs facile Ă  d'excellents restaurants (cinq des 10 meilleurs chefs de GĂ©orgie ont des restaurants Ă  moins de 15 km d'ici), shopping dans les environs de Clayton et toutes les merveilles naturelles la rĂ©gion a Ă  offrir. Il y a mĂȘme une ferme de lĂ©gumes bio en fonctionnement juste en face de la route!

Wonderful getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Jim's lil red caboose! The attention to detail and time spent in this beautiful train vacation rental was amazing! The views and the scenery around the rental just make it that much better. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short but we do hope stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Absolutely wonderful stay in this historic caboose! We selected this property for the local scenery and ended up more than delighted with the accommodations. Jim, our host, has seen to every detail and takes great pride in keeping this unique location in pristine condition. He has attended to every detail which made our stay very comfortable. Great host, unique and pleasant caboose cabin

The host, Jim, was so helpful, starting with the check in process all the way through check out. He recommended many tips and restaurants around the Clayton area. The caboose cabin was a unique experience and if we’re ever back in the area, we will find Jim and the caboose cabin again!

Awesome little gem. Lots of cool vintage train stuff to look at all over the place. In evening very quit and peaceful. Gives you a really good feel if you were looking to live in a tiny house.

Definitely a must do!

Owners were awesome. Answered all our questions. I loved the stream and perfect weather. Very rustic, right up my ally. We would definitely stay again - may bring a memory foam..... relaxing weekend. History galore!

Amazing place and hospitality!

It's like staying in a one room museum, with a fully modern bathroom off your back porch. Place is very clean and comfortable. Owner is super responsive and very helpful. Could not think of one thing we would have changed. The lookout area in the top part of the caboose was a memorable spot to sit and look out over the beautiful views! We will be staying again!

Unique Experience

We really enjoyed our stay in the historic caboose. Although small, we had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Jim has thought of everything you need. The separate bathroom was cute and very functional, as well as only a few steps from the back door. If you are looking for an unique experience, this is a must stay!

Incredible experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic caboose! It’s so well-appointed throughout with perfectly chosen train-related antiques and all the creature comforts. The silo bathroom is especially cool—so creative, eclectic, and functional. Jim, your wonderful host, set us up with a roaring fire in the fire pit and shared great conversation. We highly recommend this opportunity to stay in a unique piece of history!

Super cool -- Very Memorable Stay!

If you are looking for a very unique, and memorable place, this is it! And if you are a train/antique buff--look no further! The caboose is full of very interesting train/locomotive memorabilia, and the silo bathroom is extremely nice; also very unique. Mr. Reaves was very helpful in pointing out close-by waterfalls and short hikes. Only downside is the nearby road noise. You absolutely will not forget your stay here.

Loved the "quirky" caboose

Not your usual hum-drum hotel. Why stay in a dreary room when you can stay in a caboose and bathe in a grain silo up in the mountains!? Pleasant outdoor sitting area. Close to town with good food and lovely drives. Bonus antiquing on the property. Owner super nice and very helpful. He's always around if you need anything.

As cozy as it gets!!!

Can't say enough about the caboose and Jim! The Caboose was such a great experience. It's beyond cozy and accommodating. I'm not a train enthusiast, but was blown away by all the cool memorabilia that was in it. Main Street is only a 5min drive away. Jim is the best. Great host!! Make sure to check out his shop next door.

Unique property

Jim’s caboose is so unique. His attention to detail is great. Loved the caboose and the silo bathroom. So much work went into making this property great. Jim is also great for local recommendations. Excellent. 5 stars for sure!

Unique and Fun

Everything about our weekend was great. Jim was very helpful and put a lot of thought into every aspect of the caboose. We took advantage of almost every amenity provided. Even though it was almost freezing outside, it was very warm in the caboose, and the restroom came with a heater as well. Our favorite part was the breakfast nook. It takes some dexterity to get up there, but the view was beautiful. This is the perfect place for a couple to comfortably enjoy the mountains of North Georgia.

We really enjoyed staying in the caboose. Jim was an awesome host. The place was very clean and very unique. It was definitely an experience. You can learn a lot of stuff by just walking in to the place and looking at all the unique stuff on the walls, Jim was very knowledgeable of a lot of things as well and it was awesome Howell they turned a silo into the bathroom. Anything you would need Jim would go out of his way for you. Definitely something everyone should try

Great Unique Opportunity

What a great place to stay with a truly unique vibe. Jim is an awesome host. The place is incredibly clean and everything you need is available. The bed is not the most comfortable and privacy from the neighbors is a bit lacking. Road noise dies down considerably at night. Persons with difficulty navigating stairs might struggle a bit - it is a rail car after all. But overall, this place is convenient to many attractions and is a unique find. I definitely recommend for one or two people!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Unique in that this is a one-of-a-kind center cupola caboose from 1929. Not another exactly like it anywhere else, and the only caboose in Rabun County. Very cool!
