Bridge View was in a lovely location near the Folly Bridge. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and friendly. The apartment fits a couple well. There is a grocery store close by, and it is about a 15-20 minute walk to Oxford Center for lots of restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing.

I had a great week at this property and it is a superb location. 10 minutes to food shops and 10 minutes to the vibrancy and historic charm of Oxford. Just about perfect accommodation for 1 or 2 people. It has everything that you could possibly need, tucked way in one corner or another. As an American I did find the shower a bit primitive and turning it on and not getting everything wet is an adventure

We loved the location of Bridge View, and walked to town every day multiple times. The location is super convenient. The kitchen had all we needed. The bed was very comfy. The backyard was filled with birds— a Robin serenaded us each morning. We loved the flat and would stay here again happily.
Within a 2 minute walk of the flat. Folly Bridge and walking the Tow Path along the Thames.

Calm and Quiet

I was in Oxford for a conference and I loved this location. It was a 15 min walk to the event along a peaceful path. Apartment was quiet, clean and perfect for my needs. Highly recommend.

Well appointed and comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood and convenient location. Very close to the riverside paths and an easy walk to both the Grandpont Bridge and Folly Bridge, either direction leading to downtown Oxford. Convenient shopping (grocery and other retail) and restaurant options at nearby Westgate Plaza. Easy access to various points of interest and abundant parks and nature trails as well. Good communication from property manager.

Great Location

This is a great flat. We found the location to be really good. The flat was clean and well furnished for our needs. It has really good air flow with the front and back windows open, which is very critical during the summer. Also appreciated that fans were provided. Check in was very easy. Another huge bonus is there is a parking spot! It’s a nightmare trying to find parking places and navigating around Oxford in a car. This flat is in the perfect location to be able to have a car and take a drive out to the Cotswolds or Gloucester.

Ruhige Lage, nur 10 Min. zu Fuß zum Christ Church College, 15 -20 Min. in das Zentrum. Stadt ist echt Sehenswert. Leider waren in unserer Woche Examensfeiern, welche die Lokale überfüllte und auch in der Nachbarschaft zu unserem Apartment bis Nachts 3 Uhr Feiern stattfanden. Parkplatz im Innenhof praktisch, wenn nicht der Nachbar den für das Appartement reservierten Parkplatz ohne Autorisierung belegt. Küche ist sehr begrenzt ausgestattet, das Geschirr zum Teil nicht sauber. Viel Mühe gibt sich der Vermieter nicht bei der Ausstattung und Reinigung. Man erhält auch ständig direkt Nachrichten und Zahlungsaufforderungen, welche nicht über VRBO/fewodirekt liefen und man warb auch für direkte Buchung ohne VRBO, was nicht unbedingt seriös wirkt.

Oxford's rich culture is at your fingertips from this property with the Ashmolean Museum, Castle complex and the Oxford Colleges within ten minutes walk or less as well as Oxford's plentiful and varied restaurants, bars and cafes. As an alternative to the city centre the popular enclave of Jericho is 20 minutes walk away. Jericho offers a good selection of restaurants, cafes, boutique shops and an independent cinema. Getting away from city life is just as simple from this property as it is located close to the canal and the River Thames where you can walk or cycle and take in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.
