Lyme Regis, on the beautiful Jurassic Coast, is only a short drive away. The sandy beach is ideal for swimming and water sports, the quaint harbour offers regular fishing trips and the opportunity to go fossil hunting, and the town itself is a delightful maze of narrow streets with interesting shops and cafes.
