6 chambres, 5 salles de douches/WC. Magnifique piscine a colonnades avec terrasse ensoleillee, salon d'ete ombrage, cuisine d'ete ombrage et BBQ traditionnel. Emplacement prive et exclusif mais non isole. Vous n'avez aucun vis a vis, ni aucune autre proprietie. Parking pour 6 voitures.
Gite separe en option dans le coin du jardin pour 2, 3 ou 4 personnes supplementaires si besoin.

Exceeded our expectations.

We booked Villa Romantique for a get-together of far flung cousins. The listing is accurate as regards the facilities but the photos don't really convey how spacious the house and grounds are. There are several seating areas both inside and out, giving scope for being all together or in smaller groups . The house was very well presented and on arrival we were given a tour by the charming caretaker. There's good documentation of the appliances and plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to visit. The owner is English and lives in Greater London and so the booking process was easy for someone with limited French. The contract is straightforward and queries were dealt with promptly. Beaucaire itself is a very pleasant town with both local shops and hypermarkets. We made enjoyable excursions to Nimes, Avignon, Arles and Uzes but some days it was just fun to spend time in Villa Romantique and its grounds.

Des hôtes absolument charmants et la villa est très originale et organisée avec goût.

La villa est spacieuse et agréable. Elle offre de nombreux espaces à vivre, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, y compris autour de la piscine. Une grande cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut. La villa est idéalement située pour rayonner dans les environs.

It is always very satisfying for us to know that our renters have enjoyed everything at our villa, the pool and the surroundings. We do not always get the opportunity to meet our renters, but this time we did - upon their arrival on 31 July, and also upon their departure on 7th August. It was a great pleasure for us to meet this charming Parisian family. We look forward to welcoming them again to Villa Romantique.

Unreal holiday location

Villa Romantique makes for a dream holiday. My family and some friends made this our home-base for a week while we recuperate from a tour of Italy and centenary a couple birthdays while we took our time touring Provence. The villa is a great location with easy access to Avignon, Arles, Nîmes, and Beaucaire and Tarascon. The villa itself is breathtaking- the architecture, the grounds, the amenities... It's very well appointed with necessities;we were able to cook large, complex meals, have a tea party, and cookout. The hone is decorated traditionally and I loved the lived-in feeling of comfort. I will say that the furniture is antique and I think has been subject to vacation rental-type use, so we had to be extra delicate. Tony and Suzanne have taken the time to label and provide I strutting for most things, which I particularly appreciated bc it reduced the amount of energy we had to expend on opening five cabinets to find glasses. The owners are extremely communicative and were patient with me as I was difficult to reach bc of lack of service before arrival. I was apprehensive about departure bc we didn't have clear instructions, but when the local caretaker came, she assured us that all was well. Can't thank them enough for making it so easy to have a relaxing holiday!

Lovely Villa!

The property was certainly unusual. Enjoyed the pool the most as we were there during a heat wave!! Some appliances were old and not working. A few basic necessities could have been included, like dish detergent and a new sponge!

Thank you so much for your feedback. Yes, as our photos show, our Villa Romantique is certainly unusual, and we love it for that very reason. As you will know, there are thousands and thousands of villas all around the world that have been built during the last 50 years all to the same basic shape and furnished to the same standard style - so that when you are at any one of them you could be anywhere in the world! When you are at Villa Romantique you know that you are in beautiful Provence and you know that you are in a truly unique property - and this is why our visitors love it. We have many visitors who regularly re-book, or recommend us to their friends or relatives. As you kindly said in your e-mail which you sent direct to us "you enjoyed your stay and had a lovely experience" Thank you. It is always very satisfying for us to know this. Although it is a self-catering villa, each time we are there - which is often - we re-stock it with all the day-to-day necessities. Normally when our visitors use up something they replace it, but not everyone does. We are very sorry if on this occasion there was insufficient dish detergent for your requirements. Also we have an on-going programme of replacements and renewals of equipment. We have not had any reports before of there being any old or not-working equipment, and you did not report anything to us whilst you were staying at the property. If anything happens to malfunction we have a very efficient and friendly local team on-call who can replace anything very quickly. It was a pleasure for us to have you stay at our Villa Romantique and we look forward to welcoming you or any of your friends to stay again at any time. Best Wishes Tony
