Amazing stay that met everyone’s needs

Great accommodation with plenty of space for everyone, amazing time celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary. It really was the perfect place that catered for all generations. Great communication pre and post our stay and will be looking to return in the future.

Amazing weekend celebrating with friends

The property is brilliant for a large group gathering. All the bedrooms were lovely, with own individual style and the majority with ensuite. Being able to make a cup of tea in the kitchenette shared by the rooms in the out building was a bonus. The cooking facilities were amazing, we easily catered for the 16 of us.We enjoyed being able to all sit around a table together, inside or out. In addition having the two separate lounges allowed for groups or individuals to be able to chill, with great flexibility. But the icing on the cake was the swimming pool, hot tub, pool table and skittle alley, which were all used by groups or individuals. We all had an amazing time, with wonderful memories made. Would love to return.

Beautiful farmhouse

We had the most wonderful stay here for a very special family gathering to celebrate our mum and dad’s 60th wedding anniversary. The house was absolutely fantastic and had everything we could possibly have needed for a family stay. It was spacious, comfortable and beautifully equipped, making it the perfect place for us all to spend time together. The fabulous pool and games room were a huge hit with everyone and provided plenty of fun and entertainment. There was something for all ages, and we made some very special family memories. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate such an important milestone. Thank you for helping make our parents’ 60th anniversary so memorable. We would definitely love to come back!

Brilliant weekend stay

The Farm house has that Wow factor. Fantastic activities for all ages - 7 - 80 years! Great pool for a decent swim and plenty of 'floats' for younger children. Pool table, table tennis and skittles alley superbly placed in the barn. Comfortable chairs to watch play. Very spacious area The kitchen was very well equipped and a selection of groceries welcomed us. Wonderful for the ten of us to sit round the kitchen table for breakfast etc. It always seems a hub of the home. Dining room perfect for the evening meal in candle light. We didn't have a fire though it was tempting as the wood was supplied. The beds and bedding were so cosy and comfortable. So good for so many of us to have en suites. We visited Bridport for the market and shops and also West Bay and the Harbour. On Sunday we went fossil hunting on Charmouth beach. AND found a fossiled fern! We self catered all our meals which was fun. Thank you Moorbath Farm house for exceeding my expectations celebrating my 80th birthday with my son and daughter and their families

Bridport Literary Festival

Fabulous location for our trip to Literary Festival in Bridport. The property was perfect, very well equipped and the bed’s super comfy!! Everything we could have wished for. Highly recommend

Fantastic place

We really enjoyed our stay and Moorbath Farmhouse, would definitely go back. The facilities are great, particularly the pool. The whole family loved it, kids loved the pool and skittles. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Great for large groups

We really enjoyed our stay here. Kids loved the pool and games and adults enjoyed being out on the patio. It also has huge dining table to enjoy meals together. The location was great - able to get out for walks, to the beach and pubs.Would definitely recommend. Thank you

💯 % Perfect house for a special family occasion

The house is perfect for all ages. The kitchen is well equipped and made cooking for everyone a pleasure. Two lounges helped with noise control😂. The games room was ideal for everyone to let off steam and the swimming pool and jacuzzi was just the job for those wet afternoons. 10/10

Excellent accommodation for various groups. Lots of indoor facilities for inclement weather. Well equipped kitchen and bedroom/ bathrooms.Very near Symondsbury Estate with shops, cafes and walks.Altogether a big success!

Family weekend

Lovely spacious house for whole family of 3 generations to spend time together. The pool, table tennis,skittles, pool table and hot tub were enjoyed by all!Ed the host most helpful and excellent welcome pack. Moorbath situated in beautiful peaceful Dorset countryside but only 10 minutes from beach (fossils) and pub at Seatown.

Wonderful family get together

What a wonderful house for a family get together. Room enough for everyone and love the big dining table for us all to eat and chat together. Enough fridge space too and thank you for the goodie basket with lots of local treats. We had one whole day of rain but the swimming pool and the games area were put to good use Never knew the rules to Skittles but fun making up our own. Brilliant too that we all had ensuite bedrooms.

A lovely relaxing time with the family

We have been to Moorbath Farmhouse many times before and it is everyone's favourite place to stay. We can have grandparents, parents and children (and two dogs) in one place where they can chill out, swim in the pool, play snooker, sit in the hot tub or just sit outside and read a book. We can all eat togther - each family takes turn in cooking a meal - there is plenty of room for food storage and cooking. We will be back!

Fabulous farmhouse with super facilities in which to celebrate a joint 80th birthday with a multigenerational family holiday. The children loved the pool and games rooms. We all enjoyed watching the Lionesses play on the huge TV. Kitchen really well equipped and the bedrooms wonderfully comfortable. Plenty of space for parking. Good WiFi and the patchy mobile phone signal was a bonus also! Highly recommended.

Everything you need for a wonderful holiday

We, as a family, (13 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs) have been coming here for over 7 years. It is a lovely old, quirky, farmhouse. Very comfortable, with everything you need. Whether rain or shine, there's always something to do (swim, pool, table tennis, bowling alley) We usually book for the next year as we are leaving. We are so keen to keep coming back.

Family birthday

House was brilliant for all family 15 of us the celebrate grandpas 70th birthday. House well equipped with lots for children to do. Comfy beds and lots of space. Excellent weather gave opportunity to use pool everyday and visit local beaches and farms. Enjoyed by all.

Wonderful family reunion in an awesome venue

What a find - we have just had the most wonderful weekend at Moorbath Farmhouse. Just perfect for 17 of us ranging from 82years to 18 months. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect there was plenty to occupy all of us, especially for the teenagers at the pool and the games room. The welcoming hamper was a delicious surprise and the whole house felt just like a warm and comfortable home. My 10 year old grandson says that when he wins the lottery he wants buy that house 😍!!

Family get together

We had an amazing time celebrating my 60th Birthday with our children and grandchildren. The accommodation was excellent.Very clean and with a very well equipped kitchen. Great dining room to sit all 10 of us together for meals.We had a huge amount of fun in the pool and games room. No complaints at all!! Perfect venue, would highly recommend Thankyou Ed and Connie

Amazing

A truly wonderful holiday home. Moorbath has been the venue for a number of family holidays and is a firm favourite with us all. The combination of being enough to sleep us all and having lots of different area soft us to hang out in is brilliant. The house is always super clean and well equipped. The kids love the pool, then move to playing snooker and table tennis before jumping back in the hot tub! Lots of lovely walks from the back gate and quick access to Bridport. We started going there when my son was 1 and we had 4 children between the adults. That has now swelled to 12 children and we keep going back! Highly recommend

A Truly Family Friendly Experience

We stayed at the Farmhouse for a week.. 11 of us ages 8 to 73. The number of bedrooms, bathrooms, the outdoor space, the entertainment facilities and the incredibly well equipped kitchen made living together very easy. The owners were very accessible if there was a problem... the only one we had was a lack of power for a few hours when a power line was cut and they gave us extra candles. It is a 400 year old space and and some kinks are inevitable and understanding is necessary, but all in all a really good experience.
