I can only recommend staying here. The place is beautiful, nice and calm and still within a short drive to beautiful towns and beaches. Our house was nice and clean and fully equiped with whatever we needed. The hosts are friendly, informative and fully skilled in English.

This cottage provided both a welcome, relaxing retreat and a great base to explore the local area and go to the beach. The accommodation was perfect for us. The different cottages feel private and separate and we hardly saw the other guests. It had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed. The swimming pool was well maintained and a great size. Carin and Carlos were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They struck the perfect balance of being available without any instrusiveness. The local area was lovely and we enjoyed trips to Vejer de la Frontera, El Palmar beach and Zahora beach. Thank you Carin and Carlos!

Peace and quiet

Very comfortable, clean, self-catering accommodation in lovely garden with pool. Carin was a great host. La Muela is quiet rural area well positioned for Vejer, El Palmar, Los Canos de Meca, Cadiz etc. Would recommend.

Fantastic little Spanish hideaway

This was our 2nd stay at this charming little location and we've already booked our 3rd. It is exactly the type of place that we strive to find anywhere we go. The setting is lovely, the hosts are most helpful, available, flexible and non-intrusive. it is near to Vejer, dozens of glorious beaches and you can access larger places like Seville, Gibraltar and Cadiz too. As long as you've plenty insect repellent this could be your idea holiday.

A great place to stay!

We had a wonderful relaxing 5 night stay at the Carin’s finca. Carin was a great host, the house was lovely, and the grounds, including the pool, are beautiful. Not only is it a great place to be but it’s really well located for exploring the area. From there we drove to Cádiz to explore the old town, observation tower, and cathedral; Jerez de la Frontera for it’s amazing castle and sherry tours; Tarifa for whale watching; and there are too many quiet and beautiful beaches to count. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Great place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

The property is spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The garden is beautiful and the pool lovely, although given the distance from our property to the pool, it was a shame there were no sunbeds next to it. Vejer is a lovely little town with some great restaurants. The nearby restaurant at Patria was also excellent and we really enjoyed the local Italian restaurant called Il Forno, which was relaxed and great value for money. Carin and Carlos are great hosts, welcoming and friendly. Thank you both very much.

Nice stay near Vejer de la Frontera

Very quiet place at 15 minutes of the center of Vejer de la Frontera. Excellent location to visit the costa de la luz from Cadiz to Tarif. The house itself was very clean and is perfect for couples (1 bedroom + 1 bathroom). We didn't prepare our meals ourselfs, because of the many restaurants in Vejer or Conil de la Frontera (20 minutes). If you like rest, nature and dogs (from the owner), you will like this place. You need a car because Finca La Hijuela is situated in La Muela. The last part of the road can be bumpy. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Thank you Carin!

The greatest value is the hosts: the nice Carin and Carlos. Fantastic people. The facility itself - great, and location, and atmosphere, and access. Wonderful vegetation, clean, swimming pool, cottages located in the shade of trees, on the premises - a cork tree. A nice experience for people from northern Europe. In addition, according to the Carin’s suggestion, we recommend the beach and the town of Conil de la Frontera - wonderful. In addition, it is close to Gibraltar, Tarify and by ferry to Morocco, to Cadiz. A house that came to us great, with a terrace, with privacy, equipped with everything you need [well, except for the dishwasher ;)]. I also know that there would be no problem with your own dog. So I heartily recommend it.Największą wartością są gospodarze: przemili Carin i Carlos. Fantastyczni ludzie. Sam obiekt - super, i lokalizacja, i klimat, i dojazd. Cudowna roślinność, czyściutko, basen, domki ulokowane w cieniu drzew, na terenie obiektu - drzewo korkowe. Dla ludzi z północy Europy fajne doznanie. Poza tym, zgodnie z sugestią Gospodyni, polecamy plażę i miasteczko Conil de la Frontera - cudowne. Ponadto blisko do Gibraltaru, do Tarify i na prom do Maroka, do Cadiz. Domek, który przypadł nam świetny, z tarasem, z prywatnością, wyposażony we wszystko co niezbędne [no, oprócz zmywarki ;)]. wiem też, że nie byłoby problemu z własnym pieskiem. Tak więc serdecznie polecam.

Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Die Ferienwohnung entsprach der Beschreibung. Man kann sich sehr gut entspannen und ist für sich.Wir würden die Finca weiterempfehlen.

Prima verblijf in mooie groene tuin. Huisje is basic, maar voldoet. Geen airco, maar dat wisten we. Voor de ramen zitten horren. Voor ons waren de bedden wat te zacht.S'nachts wel een paar keer langdurig blaffende honden uit de nabije omgeving gehoord, waardoor we lastig konden slapen. Eigen honden van eigenaren zijn stil en vriendelijk. In dorpje zelf valt niets te beleven. Auto noodzakelijk om omgeving te verkennen en voor boodschappen.

Der Pool war toll. Es gibt viel Platz und es ist schön ruhig dort. Carlos und Carin waren super lieb und haben uns sogar Sonnenschirm und Spielsachen fue den Strand geliehen. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Tolles Ferienhaus auf wunderschönem Grundstück in ruhiger Lage. Großer Pool. Sehr nette Gastgeber.Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Küche mit Grundausstattung und großem Kühlschrank.Aufgrund der Lage ist ein Auto empfehlenswert. Zum Strand sind es mit dem Auto ca. 20 Minuten. Das nächste Restaurant ist in ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Schöne Finca

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Finca liegt außerhalb, aber umgeben von einer traumhaften Natur. Die letzten 300 m der Anreise sind auf einem holprigen Weg, aber machbar.

Diez años y seguimos repitiendo!!!

Poco podemos añadir al hecho de volver cada verano a esta propiedad. Las casas son muy acogedoras , el entorno esta rodeado de plantas, flores , árboles y césped, la piscina ideal y Carin y Carlos muy amables y dispuestos para cualquier cosa que se necesite. El lugar es precioso.
