Set in the world famous Bernese Oberland, Grindelwald is the base for some of Europe's best walking trails and has become something of a hiking Mecca over the years. During the winter months with over 260 kms of slopes in the Jungfrau region you are spoilt for choice.
The chalet is perfectly located in a very quiet private road just a 5-7 minutes walk from the railway station (Grindelwald Dorf) and the village center and the gondolas.

The apartment Shreckhorn with 86 m2 living area for (4-5 people) and 3.5 rooms (2 bedrooms) is located on the first floor. It's spacious and has a large south facing balcony
with uninterrupted views of the Eiger North Face and the surrounding mountain world.

With modern furniture, fully equipped kitchen, internet (WiFi), SAT TV and a covered parking space in front of the chalet.

Included in the rate: cleaning at the end of your stay, linen, towels, kitchen towels, Internet, carport and side costs (heating, power, water). The only additional costs are the local tourist taxes.

This home is in a perfect location with unbeatable views of the Eiger from the outdoor porch area. It has a fully functional kitchen with all essentials. Also included a parking spot which we did not use. There is laundry that costs 2 CHF or so per load. We loved every minute of our stay here and would come back again in the future. The bedrooms are plenty big for 4 adults. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment with a balcony that faces the Eiger. You really can’t ask for a better location. Only a few minutes' walk to the train station/buses. There is a big hill and some things to take note of if you have mobility issues. Switzerland was unfortunately facing a heat wave, and we wished we brought fans with us. Opening the windows let in mosquitoes and led to us getting bit trying to cool down the space. The kitchen is well stocked and it really is a beautiful place.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather. It was exceptionally hot across all of Europe—and much hotter in many other places. Grindelwald is situated in the mountains, so the terrain isn't entirely flat. If the slight uphill walk to the village proves too strenuous, you can take the bus for one stop. Bus travel is free with your guest card, and the bus stop is just 50 meters from the chalet and easily accessible (even for those with limited mobility). We hope you were able to enjoy your stay nonetheless. All the best!

This place has an amazing view from the deck. Spacious room, super clean and it has everything equipped in the kitchen. Great location, 7 mins walk from the place to grindelwald station. Can also take the 123 bus to terminal or first cable car. Will come back the next time visiting Grindelwald. Small tip: bring your shampoo and body wash as it is not provided. Other than that you it has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Overall good but a few were an issue. A curved staircase up two levels with suitcases was not ideal. Also a fair walk uphill to the town. Very well equipped and plenty of room. Fantastic view of the snow capped mountains from the balcony.

Grindelwald is located in the mountains, so it‘s not flat everywhere. There is no elevator in the Chalet Jasmine that’s true, but our apartment is located only on the 2nd floor (not on the top, 4th floor). Beautiful chalet

An ideal setting and base camp for exploration. Convenient to Grindelwald train station and a short (uphill) walk to downtown. Nestled in the mountains — every day we were struck by the views — with and without fog. The apartment had everything we needed. Laundry access was a bonus!

Staying at Christine’s property was one of the many memories I’ll cherish for a very long time. The chalet was our home for 5 days. With the jaw dropping view and spacious comfortable apartment it was the right choice for our vacation.

We are living in the northern part of Switzerland. Before we bought this apartment we often spent our winter holidays in Grindelwald. We love very much skiing and sledding. Also hiking in summer is marvelous. You are close to a lot of attractions in and around Grindelwald in Berner Oberland. Also close to Interlaken with 2 lakes.
When we got the opportunity to buy this wonderful apartment 'Schreckhorn' in the Chalet JASMINE we didn't hesitate.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Very wide and sunny balcony overlooking the ski area 'Kleine Scheidegg & Männlichen' and an incredible view to the Eiger North Face. The apartment is very bright (window front) and spacious.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Very good location. Close to the ski bus stop (100 m) to all skiing and hiking areas: Firstbahn, Terminal with gondolas to Männlichen and Eiger Express (Top of Europe) or Grund railway station for the train to Kleine Scheidegg.
5-7 minutes walk to the railway station or the center of Grindelwald for shopping, dining or relaxing in one of the beautiful Restaurants and Bars.
