Living Space
A recently completed luxury furnished barn conversion offering an open plan living space with a modern/country feel with its vaulted ceilings and original beams. The luxury fully stocked kitchen includes a fully integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, induction hob, electric fan oven, and coffee machine. There is also a large breakfast bar and bar stools with a charging point for your laptop or phone. Within this space there is a beautiful dining area that consists of a solid wood dining table and 6 chairs which is placed in front of a large double aspect south facing window for a beautiful view across Dorset. There is also a 55” Smart Tv with soundbar, DVD player, an app for Netflix (if you have it), a coffee table within a large and very comfortable seating/lounging area, with its own beautiful and bright views from the set of French doors opening onto your large decked terrace space which includes a 4-person hot tub and generous garden furniture, it is the ideal spot to admire the stunning views.

A Well-designed utility room separate to the main living space and bedroom offering ample storage, a heated towel rail and an integrated washer/dryer.

Stags Retreat is the perfect holiday home to escape for a weekend break, but equally well equipped to use as a base for a longer stays. Located in a pretty, rural location, this barn is the perfect place to switch off and relax. The property is in an elevated position which also boasts a generous size decked terrace with your very own private hot tub and beautiful, far-reaching countryside views. There is plenty to see and do with the charming towns of Sherborne and Yeovil just a few miles away with a great range of independent eateries and shops and its stunning abbey. If the weather is not on your side, both Haynes Motor Museum and Fleet Air Arm Museum are just a few miles away and well worth a visit. When the sun shines, head to the coast and the stunning Jurassic Coastline less than an hour away with charming coastal villages and harbour towns and hidden coves to explore. We are sure this is one holiday home you will want to return to again and again. This property can be booked with The Cow shed to accommodate up to 8 guests.

Sleeps 2 in the superking bed+2 children or 1 adult and 1 child on a 3/4 sized double sofa bed in the lounge area and an additional single Z-bed available on request

Please note:

Due to the steps and gravel drive, unfortunately Stags Retreat is not suitable for guests with mobility disabilities.

The hot tub is emptied, sanitised and refilled after every booking and maintained during your stay.

We are able to accept a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and 1 child comfortably. We can also accommodate 1 travel cot only (linen not provided).
