Jackdaw Quarry is also home to the UK's premier scuba diving centre and PADI dive school. Guests have the opportunity, should they so wish, to sample scuba diving for the first time or further develop their existing skills (visit the Dive Site for more details). Scuba diving aside, there is so much to enjoy at Jackdaw Quarry 'above the water'! The local area is perfect for cycling and there are many delightful walks available from the door. Jackdaw Quarry's excellent location means easy access to the Lakes and Dales (e.g. Windermere is just 30 minutes drive away).

The accommodation at Jackdaw Quarry Lodges is simply stunning. Built to the highest standards, the property is clad in local stone and features a turf roof sown with wild flowers! Stylish and contemporary, the interior has been well thought out and beautifully dressed. Equally impressive are the list of standard features, which include discreet lighting, under floor heating throughout, a central vacuum system and satellite TV and DVD players in every bedroom! Each lodge has three good bedrooms, with one on ground floor level for ease of access, if required. The property has two glass fronted and covered balconies looking over the water, with a gas barbecue provided on the main balcony. Guests can enjoy an al fresco BBQ meal on the deck whilst gazing down on the divers below!
