Less than 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre and its train station, Ty Bunc is conveniently placed for getting around and enjoying the various bars and eateries in the vibrant town centre of Merthyr Tydfil.

Guests also love our custom-built bike maintenance and storage facilities and outdoor seating and BBQ, we are particularly popular with those visiting for Bike Park Wales and the Brecon Beacons.

Offering a flexible king or twin sleeping area, separate bathroom with shower, open plan living/dining with superfast Wi-Fi and huge 70’’ smart TV, and additional outdoor and bike facilities, Ty Bunc is the perfect all-in-one choice for your visit to Merthyr Tydfil.

Free and unrestricted parking is available directly outside the property, along with immediate access to two wonderful local parks, popular with local and visiting dog-walkers all year round.

Ty Bunc is also conveniently located for discovering the Brecon Beacons National Park, with Pen y Fan and the famous Ystradfellte Four Waterfalls trail both within a 30-minute drive.

Free and unrestricted street parking is available directly outside the property, for as many cars as required.

Please Note: Ty Bunc is adjoined to another of our holiday lets, a two-bedroom house that sleeps up to 6 (The Croft) – they are entirely separate and do not have any shared spaces or access. We welcome enquiries for group bookings who may wish you utilise both properties at once.

Bike park wales trip
Great little place to stay. Just a few things that could have made it even better: we didn’t get the check in code until 15mins after the time we could check in and I had to chase to receive it. A few more kitchen utensils would have helped, a washing machine and a drying room with heater would have been good too. The wood burner and spa pool in the description didn’t exist either. These things are small but improvements which would help to enhance an already great place to stay.
