ROES is the name of our vacation house in Roeselare, the heart of West-Flanders. The house is accessible by car, train, and bus, and there are 5 airports within 2 hours distance.

Accommodation

The house has a private parking and is located in a quiet street just outside the city centre. On walking distance you’ll find the train and bus station, several supermarkets, the main shopping street, the cinema, bakeries and butcheries, bars and restaurants, …

The house has 2 bedrooms for 4 guests and an extra leisure room. Upon request we’re happy to provide a baby bed. There is also a living room, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside you’ll find the cosy garden with terrace and BBQ.

Location

Besides many cycle and walking routes, there are several things to see and do in the neighbourhood, such as brewery ‘Rodenbach’, national museum of Cycle Racing, Rumbeke Castle, ‘Sterrebos’ forest, ‘Kunstuur’ art festival, local market, cultural centre: ‘De Spil’, 3-star restaurant ‘Boury’, …

The house is not only perfectly located for a city trip, shopping weekend, or business trip in Roeselare. The central location makes it possible to visit -by car, train, or bus- several wonderful scenes in the surroundings, such as:

~ the North Sea
~ historical cities like Bruges, Ypres, Kortrijk, Ghent, Brussels, Antwerp, and Lille (France)
~ nature and theme parks, such as best Zoo in Europe: ‘Pairi Daiza’, ‘het Zwin’, ‘Bulskampveld’, ‘De Gavers’, and ‘Bellewaerde’ (30-70 minutes by car)
~ monuments like Menin Gate, ‘Begijnhof’, as well as ancient Belforts and Cathedrals (+- 30 minutes by car)

Needless to say that a longer stay with us is definitely interesting.
