Tucked away within the peaceful grounds of Little Upton Farm, The Cote is a beautifully converted former milking parlour, offering a private and characterful countryside escape for up to four guests. Set on a 100-acre working farm, this charming two-bedroom retreat is ideal for couples, friends, or small families seeking rural tranquillity with the Isle of Wight’s beaches and towns just a short drive away. One dog is welcome by request.



The Space:

Inside The Cote

Step through the patio doors into a light-filled open-plan living space, where exposed oak beams and wooden floors create a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Large windows invite the outdoors in, making this a lovely space to unwind after a day exploring the island.



The farmhouse-style kitchen is well equipped for self-catering stays, with everything you need to prepare leisurely breakfasts or family meals, plus the convenience of a dishwasher and washing machine. A dining table seating six provides plenty of space for relaxed dining and shared moments together.

The Cote sleeps four guests across two comfortable and thoughtfully designed bedrooms, both accessed via a charming galleried landing:

Guests are welcome to enjoy the wider farm setting, with sheep, goats, pigs, and rescued alpacas and donkeys living on the land. Animal viewing and feeding can be arranged by request, offering a memorable and gentle introduction to farm life for both adults and children.

Little Upton Farm lies only 5 minutes by car from Ryde’s Town Centre with its marina, boating lake, children’s rides, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, bowling Greens, as well as having many international restaurants, pubs, cafés, boutiques, and antique shops. Something for everyone. Whilst the 6 miles of golden, gently sloping sandy beaches are ideal for bathing in the summer and breath-taking embracing walks in the winter. There is no better way to start your day, than taking a brisk walk from Ryde to Seaview while watching the sun rise, then pop into a café in Seaview and walk home.



Getting Around:

There is a bus stop up the road at Upton Cross that goes hourly into town, where there are superb transport link all around the island.
