Lovely cottage in a great location

Spacious and comfortable property with lovely views over open countryside. One morning we saw a small group of fallow deer. The location is ideal on a quiet side street but a short walk to the pubs, cafe and shop. Many of the main attractions are only a short drive away. The cottage itself is quiet, very comfortable and has modern showers and a fully equipped kitchen. . We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

A relaxing short break

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage where we felt very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved sitting in the beautiful garden with it's stunning views. Blockley is a wonderful place to stay. It is quiet and relaxing with walks from the door and several places to eat. We can recommend the Srilankan set meal at The Crown.

Great house.all amenities and the deer at the bottom of the garden were a delight!

Lovely cottage in Blockley

Loved the village of Blockley. This cottage was very well appointed, beautiful garden, a field of Deer, a gas fireplace, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, all you could ask for.

Superb Cotswolds stay

We used this delightful house as a base to explore the many villages and walks of the Northern Cotswolds . It had absolutely everything you could wish for in a holiday property - great location in a picture perfect village, gorgeous country views, great beds and linen, and cosy couches .

Great quiet location with beautiful views. Both bedrooms were comfortable. Property had everything that you could need. Perfect for two couples.

Pure relaxation

Swift Cottage was immaculately presented, a calm and well appointed property. It is one of the best that we have stayed in along Park Road. It is amazing to see the deer grazing in the fields at the back of the property. A friendly cat came to visit on a few occasions, We would rent this cottage again.

Excellent place to stay Tea coffee milk left for us on arrival Very comfortable every kitchen utensil provided. Downstairs shower small All in all a cute place to stay I would book again.

Charming small Cotswold cottage

Swift cottage was very well equipped i.e. kitchen knives etc. all in good condition. Steep stairs not good for any with mobility problems, but we loved it!

Blockley: Hidden Cotswolds Gem

Blockley is a beautiful little town in the Cotswolds not far from Chipping Camden. Blockley has a friendly and delicious cafe where my friends and I enjoyed a fabulous three course dinner. It’s right next to another treasure, a well stocked grocery store. Swift Cottage was perfect for our Cotswolds week. It was warm, snug, and cozy. We would stay again!

We had a lovely comfortable stay and Jo the housekeeper was very helpful. There were some issues with the gas and oven which Jo fixed for us on our arrival. Some items around the cottage would benefit from upgrading/replacing.

A New Favorite

I felt right at home as soon as I got to Swift Cottage! It is decorated in a comfortable and cozy style, and the view is captivating. I appreciated walking to the Great Western Arms for dinner, the Village Shop for breakfast, and the available parking right outside the cottage's door. Blockley is quiet and charming, and though I had never been there before booking this cottage, it's now one of my favorite villages in the Cotswolds!

A perfect place for a week in The Cotswolds

After searching for 'the perfect cottage' for our visit to the Cotswolds, we decided on Swift Cottage for our early family Christmas gathering (3 adults) and it did not disappoint. Situated in the gorgeous village of Blockley, we were able to walk to the local Cafe, village store and two pubs. The cottage was very comfortable, including lovely beds, well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms and a lovely gas fire. The Christmas tree and decorations were perfect! The cottage has lovely views from at the front and back and we had fun walking to the nearby village of Broad Campden. We hope we can visit again one day. Note: rent a car if you want to explore further afield, or use the local taxi company for short trips, eg. To the train station in Moreton-in-Marsh.

Swift Cottage in Blockley is charming, clean and very well-equipped. The view out the east windows, on each floor was enchanting. And different in every light. We took dozens of photos.It is an easy walk into the village, with plenty of on street parking, and Blockley is right in the middle of the Cotswolds. One caveat: the cottage is on three floors, with steep, narrow stairs. so unsuitable for people with limited mobility. Having said that, we hated to leave.

Lovely gem in the Cotswolds

This was such a great find! The photos do not do justice to the cottage or the outstanding views - probably the best I’d say - and great location. Jo, whose cleaning services are responsible for the upkeep, was prompt to respond and service any areas that needed it. She was also very helpful in providing suggestions for the area. Only downsides are: - No dedicated car parking spot, but we were able to find something out front everyday. - No air conditioning. This was not as much a problem for us as the weather was lovely when we visited. - A few of the seat cushions could use some refurbishing eg the dining area bench cushion and the sofa cushions.

Trip with friends to the Cotswolds
