Abbey House is delightful and charming property which dates from 1877 and is a listed category C building of architectural and historical interest.
The views from the house are magnificent with the stunning Jedburgh Abbey in the foreground.
Jedburgh is a Town and a former Royal Burgh in the Scottish Borders and traditional county town of the historic county of Roxburghshire. It is 10 miles (16K) from the Border of England.
Jedburgh lies on the A68 between the cities Edinburgh and Newcastle.

Fabulous Property!

We stayed at the Abbey House for a few nights on our vacation to the UK. It was absolutely wonderful! The location is stunning and the town is so quaint. We wished we would have booked it to stay longer! The host was very communicative and even left little gifts for us upon arrival. We hope that one day we can stay there again.

Stunning Property

This house & its location are superb. Amazing views within a quiet corner of historical Jedburgh. The house caters for all with a homely feel which made our holiday memorable & did not want to leave. Even our 13yr old daughter was in love with this property. The host is very welcoming, leaving gifts on arrival which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this stunning place and cannot wait to stay again

Location, location, location! Absolutely everything to like about Abbey House. We were in awe of the Abbey view from the dining/ living room and the main bedroom. Amazing. So close you can almost touch it. Right next to town shops. So well appointed. Everything you need in the house. Great kitchen. Goodies left kindly for us on arrival. 2 toilets - one up and one down are great. Bathroom is a little small but very workable. A gem.

Location,Location, Location and Five Star All The Way

Abbey House is the absolute best of the best. Comfortable, clean, homely and with extra touches that make it something else. But the view, the view simply takes your breath away and makes it magical. We were there as a base for our Taylor Swift Era's Tour Adventure in Edinburgh and were so happy with Abbey House that our only complaint is that we had to come home. Georgie is great at communicating and has clearly taken every care to make her guests feel valued. Little gifts and extras were very welcome. Easy access, great parking, comfy sofas, snuggly beds and bedding, everything top spec and so clean make Abbey House simply the best. We made great memories and hope to be back soon

I have lived in the Scottish Borders since 2010. I’m a Northumbrian through and through but met my Husband who lives and works on Lothian Estates a large estate surrounding Jedburgh and he convinced me this is ‘God’s Country’
I moved here and continued to work in Northumberland but felt I was travelling a lot so we took the plunge and invested in property so I could reduce my travelling hours and maintain an income.
We thoroughly enjoyed renovating Abbey House in lockdown as a family. We had many scary moments, many laughs and lots of dust.
We all absolutely love Abbey House the view of the Abbey is stunning and the the main bedroom lends itself to lying in bed appreciating the wonder and magic of the Abbey.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Abbey House belonged to Lothian Estates and was put up for sale, it seemed the most perfect property to purchase for our new venture.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Abbey House once upon a time was the Custodian of the Abbey’s residence lately being a long term let which had resulted in the property being run down and not looked after. We purchased it with a vision of what we could achieve whilst trying to preserve and maintain some of the character of the house.
It was by no means an easy project but having the Abbey situated at the end of the Garden made every visit rewarding.

Abbey House lends itself to being an ideal property to explore the Borders, perfectly situated in a quiet close, five minutes walk from the Town Centre of Jedburgh.
There is ample parking if using a car to travel about and being able to return at leisure to the house with its stunning view of the Abbey.
