To describe Griante who better to enlist than none other than Longfellow wrote of this pretty village in 1879. I ask myself is this a dream? Will it vanish into air? Is there a land of such supreme and perfect beauty anywhere? Holidaymakers who have visited the region will no doubt bare testimony to the statement. Cadennabia and Griante forms one town, Cadennabia on the lake and Griante, a residential area perched 50 metres up the hill looking down on the lake.

This large first floor Lake Como apartment at "Griante Residence" has a private balcony with sun loungers and alfresco dining arrangements in addition to access to the communal pool, garden, Jacuzzi, sauna and BBQ. The accommodation consists of a living area with lounge and dining seating for five; kitchen; four bedrooms and two shower / bath rooms with WC.

The residence features 9 spacious, beautifully appointed, luxury homes situated in a tranquil location. Choose from 2 or 3 bedrooms many with 2 bathrooms, terrace plus large communal outside area featuring pool in summer plus all year round sauna and jacuzzi. Ideally located to reach nearby Villa Carlotta with its majestic gardens, Bellagio directly across the lake, the Cadennabia and Menaggio golf club, shingle beach, lido and pool and golden sand beach all available either by foot or a short drive.

Comfortable apartment in stunning surroundings
Despite the heatwave we had an amazing stay. Matteo was extremely helpful, the apartment was lovely and very well placed and we particularly appreciated the swimming pool and air conditioning this week! It is possible to have a good holiday here without a car as the ferries are convenient and frequent. We would unreservedly recommend this property and hope to return one day.

En uge i varmen med udsigt til Como søen
God placering, fred og ro - ingen trafikstøj, når vi var hjemme. Dejlig stor lejlighed med god plads, flot udsigt til søen, kort vej til indkøb, skøn pool (liggestolene trænger til at blive efterspændt, så hovedskyggen kunne holde sig oppe) der var altid en plads, selvom alle lejligheder var udlejede. Det eneste vi manglede var en ordentlig topmadras, man kunne føle fjedrene i sengen. Matteo, som er udlejer, var hurtig med svar på spørgsmål og delte gerne ud af gode fif til restauranter og aktiviteter. 👍 Absolut et dejligt sted, som vi gerne anbefaler andre.

Sehr schönes Apartment
Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gepflegt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, der Blick vom Balkon auf den See und die Berge gegenüber ein Traum. In etwa 300m Entfernung liegt ein kleiner, sehr netter "Alimentari", bei dem man alles Wichtige bekommt, auch Brot und Brötchen fürs Frühstück. Es gibt einen kleinen Fußweg hinunter zum See fast direkt beim Schiffsanleger, für Unternehmungen rund um den Comer See haben wir allerdings meistens das Auto benutzt. Für die Kinder war v.a. der Pool ein Highlight. Er ist sehr gepflegt und vergleichsweise groß, sodass es kein Problem ist, wenn er von mehreren gleichzeitig genutzt wird. Es gibt auch eine kleine Sauna, aber die haben wir nicht verwendet. Es war eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, bei der es aus unserer Sicht nichts zu beanstanden gab. Das Organisatorsiche (Schlüsselübergabe etc.) hat perfekt geklappt. Vielen Dank noch einmal.
