Thank you for such a fantastic 10/10 review! We are so pleased that you enjoyed returning to Abbotsway and that the enclosed courtyard and patio gave you a sunny spot for relaxing and your dog a secure space to enjoy the fresh coastal air. To spot a badger and red kites alongside our resident red squirrels and deer is a truly remarkable wildlife list for one stay! It was an absolute pleasure chatting with you, and we look forward to welcoming you back for your winter warmer visit later in the year.

Thank you, so glad you found the wildlife on parade in the garden and that you felt so at home.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you felt at home at Abbotsway from the moment you arrived. We take great pride in keeping the house cosy and clean for our guests, but we have to admit, the real stars of the show are our local residents! We’re so glad you managed to spot the red squirrels, hares, and deer during your walks to the shoreline. It truly is a special part of the experience here. It was a pleasure having you stay with us, and we hope to welcome you back for more forest and coastline adventures soon!

Brenda, thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Abbotsway. Glad you found it a good holiday for dogs as well as yourselves and that you felt the cottage was well equipped and homely for a relaxing break. Hopefully you'll be able to stay longer next time.

So glad to know that you appreciated the high standard of cleanliness and had everything you needed. Our housekeeping team is second to none; I'm so grateful to them for the quality of their work. Brilliant to hear that your children loved the beach and that they were entertained by the games room, games and books. Thank you for your feedback. Melinda

So glad to know that you enjoyed our peaceful environment and found Abbotsway cosy and comfortable for a touch of detox and calm. Hope it's set you up well for the year ahead.

What a great review of your stay at Abbotsway Cottage. I'm thrilled you found Orroland such a welcoming and peaceful place to stay for your spring bird watching break. I was so pleased that you were able to spot our resident partridge wandering the estate and able to tick them off your list of birds to find. As you have seen, Orroland is thriving with feathered friends from pheasant and partridge to buzzards, owls and a kestrel. It was lovely to hear that you were able to visit some of the beautiful areas that Dumfries and Galloway has to offer and spotted the red kites in their natural habitat. Thank you for leaving the cottage so immaculately on your departure, we really appreciate it. A warm welcome awaits here at Orroland if you choose to come and stay again.

Thank you for sharing the things that stood out for you about your holiday at Abbotsway. So glad you enjoyed immersing yourself in our friendly local community, enjoyed the nature and inspiring environment and the cosy relaxation of evening fires. Bliss!

Nicola, thank you for your lovely review and for returning to Orroland for more rest and relaxation with your delightful dogs. I'm thrilled that you saw lots of interesting wildlife during your stay and that the bay window in the sitting room enabled you to get so close to creatures as they mosied about in your garden!

Hello Nicola, thank you for your lovely review. I'm so happy to know that you felt so at home in the cottage, that your dogs enjoyed the safe freedom of the courtyard to roam around in and so many interesting walks from the door of the cottage. Thank you for recommending Abbotsway to others.

It was so lovely to chat and share our experiences! Wonderful that you took the chance to relax and what glorious weather too. Thank you for choosing Orroland. All the best Fiona and Bob

So glad you found the cottage comfortable, convenient and fun to live in and that you enjoyed the walks from the cottage door.

Thank you for sharing your experience of Orroland. Good idea about the fire glove, I chose some red ones, they're on their way. Storm Eowyn's 87mph winds put us through our paces; I've never been so glad we invested in a state of the art generator. I had to stand right next to it to check it was on, and the house warm, lit and with access to all appliances simultaneously if you chose. Now that's how to enjoy a power cut!

We're very happy you chose Abbotsway for your family celebration and that you were pleased with the house for your party of 7. Best wishes from us all, Melinda

Thank you for your lovely review that sets the scene at Orroland beautifully for our future guests
