Independent villa of about 100 m2 just 5 km from the Capua motorway exit, surrounded by greenery with adjoining exclusive swimming pool, sauna in the bedroom, 300 m2 of outdoor terrace and over 2,000 m2 of garden. The structure is completely covered with a stone with a rustic effect in full harmony with the context in which it is located. Internally it is furnished in an industrial vintage style with a modern, welcoming and bright touch for all environments. Unplug and relax.

Beautiful

We had a beautiful week staying at Janus. It had everything we needed and more. Floriana and Raffaele were fantastic hosts. The villa was clean and very well maintained. And the pool and the views were fantastic. Thank you so much for an incredible week at casa janus.

Absolutely idyllic

It’s not often that I’m left lost for words; however I genuinely struggled for the first hour or so of being at the property due to being totally overwhelmed by how lovely it is! From the furniture and fittings, to the pool, to the little extras such as the welcome food and wine package and complimentary toiletries, the owners have thought about every detail and the property is stunning. Set in a very quiet location, the main noise you’ll hear is that of the crickets in the trees and grasses nearby… There are 2 good supermarkets within a 15 min drive, and it was less than an hour’s drive from Naples train station, to the airport and to Pompeii (all journeys that we did). The owners were responsive and incredibly helpful with communication and the welcome booklet had all the information we needed. Only change we would have made would be another sofa as when we needed a break from the incredible heat, there weren’t many comfy seats for us as a family; that being said, the covered patio area at the back was great for card games and reading out of the sun! The pool is a lovely size for a family of 3 or 4 and provided a great way to cool down - it was also a bonus in the evenings and we never felt worried about disturbing anyone due to the private setting. You’ll need bug spray/anti-mosquito cream for certain but even the itchy bites didn’t stop us from enjoying every moment of our stay in this superb villa. We hope to return again!

What an absolute gem of a place. Tucked away in the beautiful hills, the villa sits in tranquil setting with beautiful scenery. Yet, it is so well-placed for accessibility to places of interest: Capua, Caserta, the Campi Flegrei, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples. We even made the drive to Paestum further south. Just north of the villa is the beautiful Matese mountain range and its lake. Jolly Park Water Park made for a great day out with the kids - lots of slides for different ages. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby. The villa is so spacious and extremely well-maintained and beautifully decorated with everything you need for the most comfortable of stays. The gardens are beautifully maintained and pool just perfect. What is even more striking is the generosity of the owners - we arrived to find a cupboard full of biscuits, croissants and French-style toasts as well as sausages, eggs, yoghurts in the fridge plus wine. In the bathroom we found complimentary toiletries too. We have never encountered such generosity in all our years of villa stays. Floriana was super-helpful and communicative throughout our stay meaning check-in and -out were so easy. She texted regularly to check in with us and was on hand to help. I highly recommend Janus Villa - the hosts genuinely care about customer experience and it offers an opportunity to really relax whilst being within reach of the sites to visit. We feel extremely fortunate to have found this place and hope to return. Grazie mille.

Fantastisches Ferienhaus inmitten von Grillenzirpen

Fantastisch geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus! Der Pool ist wundervoll. Tolle Lage zu den historischen Stätten von Pompeji, Herkulaneum, Villa Oplontis, Capua! Aber auch ein Tipp zur Amalfi Küste und Neapel sind in nur 1 1/2 Stunden möglich!
