Deux mas du 19ème Siècle ont été rénovées avec amour, les chambres aux couleurs vives offrent tout le confort et une vue magnifique sur le paysage. Piscine dans l'oliveraie. Il s'agit de deux étages. Au rez-de-chaussée, une antichambre mène au hall, à droite se trouve une cuisine entièrement équipée avec une entrée latérale et une salle à manger avec vue sur la cour et le citronnier. À l'étage supérieur, il y a 2 suites (chacune avec salon et canapé-lit, salle de bains avec douche, chambre double avec télévision par satellite). Pour plus d'informations sur le site. La maison date du 18ème siècle. et a été joliment rénové en 2014. La restauration a conservé toutes les caractéristiques architecturales d'origine. L'intérieur est élégant, méditerranéen et contemporain. La maison se compose de 3 niveaux. Au dernier étage il y a 2 chambres, chacune avec une salle de bain. L'étage supérieur comprend un grand salon avec cheminée, une cuisine et une terrasse avec une belle vue sur le parc régional et avec une vue sur la côte de la mer. C'est un appartement très lumineux et ensoleillé. Dans cette unité max. 5 personnes dorment. La maison a une grande cour (patio) au sous-sol. Une troisième suite indépendante (chambre double, chambre simple avec canapé-lit et salle de bain) est accessible depuis la cour. Dans cette unité max. 3 personnes dorment. Le patio a un coin cuisine amusant, qui a été principalement conçu pour les clients de la suite inférieure pour préparer le petit déjeuner ou les repas séparément.

Great holiday in Italy

A very peaceful location with everything you could possibly need for a quiet escape. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful and the accommodation was amazing. We would definitely look to book this again, many thanks.

Simone and Paola were brilliant hosts for our stay at their beautiful holiday home. From the wonderful pool in the olive groves to the shaded terrace for breakfasts, dinners and stargazing to excellent living space (bedrooms, living room) and bathrooms, everything was a delight. Kitchen very well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. WiFi excellent for any work or streaming. Parking in centre of hamlet v easy, and a healthy climb on foot to the beautiful private space that this gorgeous apartment is. Recommend 100% for a restful peaceful time in nature within easy reach of beaches (under half an hour) and the sights of Napoli, Herculaneum and Pompei. Hope to be back again soon to this special place.

The property is as per the photos, but the layout was not as expected, with access via an insecure courtyard to a lowerlevel bedroom with small lounge and bathroom whist access to the two other bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and livingroom is up another flight of outside steps and through another door, so not what I (UK) would consider to be a 3 bed villa due to the separate nature of the spaces.The WiFi does not work in the lower level, nor is their mobile phone reception, so not ideal. The swimming pool is lovely, but as with the main property, not suitable for access with younger children, any one with any kind of mobilty issues due to the number of steps you need to climb to get there.Hosts were communacative, but often late at night, so not helpful if you have little ones / have gone to bed or are on the lower level as you won't get the message. Parking is about a 2min walk away, but its steep, so make sure you have water with you. The swimming pool is a further couple of mins up the hill, via a locked gate with barbed wire and up quite a few steps. I wanted to add video, but the site wont let me. I would not consider this accomodation suitable for anyone ither than adults. Please also note that the accomodatio is advertised is a 3 bed villa, but they will tell.you afyer booking that tou need to lay more for the third room, which is the one downstairs in the court yard. If you are from the UK, 3 beds should all be the other side of the same locked door

Our villa is part of a 17th-century hamlet, and we have chosen to preserve its authentic charm and traditional layout rather than modernize it with features such as elevators or internal connecting corridors. We understand that this historic design may not be suitable for all guests, particularly families with very young children or those with mobility challenges, and we will continue to highlight these details as clearly as possible in our listing and pre-arrival communications. Furthermore, we always provide service during check-in and check-out to bring the luggage in order to ease this physical stress. Regarding the additional bedroom, our policy, outlined in the booking confirmation, states that the third room is a separate dependance available also for groups that prefer to book the whole villa. We always confirm the booking content/details through e-mail after your booking. As for connectivity, Wi-Fi coverage in historic stone buildings can sometimes be limited, particularly on the lower level, and mobile reception may vary depending on provider. We are actively looking into ways to improve this experience without compromising the property’s architecture. We are glad you enjoyed the swimming pool, though we understand that the hillside location and steps may not be convenient for everyone. The elevated setting, however, is what provides the beautiful views our guests often mention in their reviews.

Ruhe und Erholung in einer idyllischen Umgebung

Das Haus liegt in einem idylischen Bergdorf mit weitem Blick über die Hügel und die Ebene bis zum Meer. Zum Haus führen nur enge kleine Gassen, daher bleibt das Auto unten, die letzten Meter muss man zu Fuß bewältigen. Dadurch ist es aber wirklich sehr ruhig . Wir wurden von der Familie Pollano herzlich Willkommen geheißen, alles wurde uns gezeigt und erklärt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, im Großen und Ganzen ist alles da was man braucht. Es ist perfekt für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern bei drei Teenagern sollte mann den unteren Bereich mit dazu buchen. Dann haben die Kinder doch ein bisschen mehr Platz. Der Pool liegt herrlich in einem Olivengarten. Die erste Woche hatten wir ihn für uns, danach haben wir ihn uns mit einer anderen Familie geteilt. Simone und seine Familie standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, gab uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, nach Neapel oder Herkulaneum. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür, Simone. Geheimtipp: wundervolle Oase

Die große und sehr geschmackvoll gestaltete Wohnung befindet sich in einem alten Bauerngehöft mit kühlem Innenhof und Outdoor-Küche in einem winzigen romantischen Bergdorf. Es ist eine tolle, sehr private und individuelle Location, danach haben wir immer gesucht! Der Swimmingpool auf einem Olivenhain ist der schönste, den wir je hatten! Neapel, Pompeji, Vesuv und Strände sind gut erreichbar, genauso kann man sich durch authentische kleine Orte abseits der Touristenwege treiben lassen. Paola und ihr Mann sind ein sehr interessantes Paar mit einem sehr internationalen Background, die die Gegend bestens kennen und sehr gut beraten können. Liebe Paola, wir haben den letzten Abend auf der Terrasse sehr genossen!

Wunderschöne Apartments in toller Lage

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenhalt in der Casa della Rosa. Meine Schwester wohnte in der Suite della Ortensia. Beide Apartments sind schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein gemeinsamer Innenhof mit Outdoor-Küche (die zur Suite gehört) verbindet die Wohnung, wobei jede separat zugänglich ist. Für uns war es sehr angenehm, quasi das ganze Haus für uns zu haben! Die Casa della Rosa hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick von der Terasse, was vor allem abends traumhaft ist, da da die Temperatur angenehm ist. Auch der Pool liegt wunderschön mit Ausblick! Die Gegend um Tuoro ist sehr idyllisch und absolut untouristisch, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat! Auch die Kleinstadt Sessa Aurunca ist sehr ursprünglich und schön mit netten Plätzen und einem Wochenmarkt mit regionalen Produkten. Das Naturschutzgebiet Roccamonfina ist toll zum Wandern, was wir mit kleinen Kindern nur begrenzt nutzen konnten. Zum Meer sind es etwa 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Dort gibt es Sandstrände mit Infrastruktur. Paola und ihre Familie waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer vor Ort, falls man Fragen hatte. Danke nochmal für den schönen Urlaub! Hoffentlich sehen wir uns wieder!

A Quaint, Quirky Delight in Campania

We stayed two weeks in both parts of Casa Rosa - two adults, two teenagers. The owners were very helpful answering questions in English, and showed us great kindness. The properties look like the photos, but we could not have imagined how complex/quirky the place is. It is very nicely decorated and equipped and is always kept beautifully clean by daily staff. The courtyard is a lovely, calm, radiant space, with lots of charming features. The main property (up stairs) is spacious and bright with a well-equipped kitchen and big fridge. The outdoor eating terrace is delightful, if small, and has great views, as do the two spacious bedrooms. The main living area is big if you want to sit indoors, and there is more outside seating downstairs in the courtyard, although it is shaded and has no views (good for evening relaxation and daytime shade). The smaller property downstairs is nicely laid out and well appointed (but its little kitchen has no oven or fridge). It worked for us to have the teenagers in the main property while we stayed downstairs. But if both parts of Casa Rosa were rented by two different families it would feel too close with not enough privacy. It was also hard climbing the stairs every time we wanted to be together, or to fetch things. In fact, the whole village requires you to be fit - it is on a very steep hillside, and you have to walk up from the car park, up the stairs to the property and up more hill and more stairs to the pool (the website does warn you of this). It is well worth the effort though! We spent most of our time at the pool, relaxing, eating, swimming and enjoying the views and privacy (it is shared with a few other users). The pool area was beautifully clean and well equipped for serving food. There was no facility for outdoor cooking anywhere (no grill/BBQ) which we hope they will remedy. We cooked in the house and carried the food to the poolside, which added to the fun. The overall feeling in the property is delightful and it is definitely luxurious while very rustic with a lot of hard stone. The one thing it did lack that was advertised was a washing machine. We were disappointed we had to pay extra for our laundry. The village is quite isolated (which we liked) - and you have to drive to the nearest restaurants. We really enjoyed those we tried in Sessa Aurunca (local, simple, tasty food, friendly service). The station is about 25 mins drive away. A wonderful stay for families or couples wanting to explore!

First of all let me thank you for your time in providing us with so detailed observations. It was a pleasure for us hosting you. You are excellent guests, respectful of our property/decoration … the kind of “explorers” every home owner wishes to have. We apologize for the irritation caused with the washing machine and the barbecue. Civil protection authorities are imposing strict rules on lighting fires outdoor (mediterranean vegetation, summer drought and wind are the cause of hefty flare-ups in the Mediterranean). That is why we have excluded the use of grill and BBQ at the swimming pool. Regarding the privacy issue, and for readers, it is fair to mention that you were prepared to pay up for the difference.
