Very cozy clean cabin with amazing views. The host Rose was so sweet and made sure we were comfortable and had all our needs meet. Planning to visit Maine again and will definitely book with Rose.

Great, quiet location near all the mid-coast has to offer! Enjoyed sunrises and terrific harbor views from the deck, including the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. Rosemary and Al were great hosts!

The property was very clean. The host welcomed us when we arrived and showed us around the property. The kitchen was well equipped. We were very close to Rockland. The view is incredible. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location on Penobscot Bay

Property was very clean and had everything we needed to a week long stay. It is on the small side but the location and the price more than make up for that.

Rosemary and Al are wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful. We spent most of our “home” time on the deck. Sunrises are spectacular. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed to make meals. The bed is comfortable. The shower stall is a bit tight, but that wasn’t a concern for us. We enjoyed exploring Owls Head, hiking, beaches, The Transportation Museum. Also the Sail and Steam Museum in Rockland. If you're looking for a cottage rental with great hosts, a fantastic view and a relaxing visit, Rosie's cottage is the place to be.

We very much enjoyed staying at the cottage. The deck is wonderful, overlooking the water and all the activity in the harbor. We brought kayaks hoping to launch from the property (as we did a couple of years ago) but found that seaweed has covered much of the shoreline around that part of the harbor, which made it too slippery. We went to the public launch, which is close by. The Dobrics are great hosts and easy to get in touch with as far as any questions or requests. The grill is exceptionally clean (unlike other rentals we've had). Overall, a very nice experience.

Quiet in the water

Nice home-like stay with amazing views. Great sunrise, especially with the Coast Gaurd Eagle clipper ship visiting in the harbor. The bed was really comfortable.

peaceful and relaxing really nice kitchen and back porch loved cooking in the kitchen and watching all the different boats in the water the moonlight was spectacular as well as the area restaurants everywhere we went got 5 forks we will be back

This cottage is in a beautiful location! The view of Penobscot Bay is wonderful. The local seafood restaurants are excellent! Every morning we got up to see the sunrise over the harbor and went into town for breakfast or a lobster roll at Claws or McLoons (both outstanding!!).The owners are sweet, they came to greet us. Overall it is clean, the decor is older, but it made us feel like we were at our gramma's house for a visit!THE VIEW is outstanding!

Cottage on the bay

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week in Maine on Penobscot Bay. The cottage was perfect- clean, comfortable, ideal location, and a terrific view of the bay. Perfect for relaxing and taking trips to surrounding towns, hiking, restaurants, and beaches. Al and Rosie were super friendly and helpful and we hope to return to the cottage in the future.

Lovely water views, quiet setting, friendly folks.

Cozy cottage, modern kitchen, with spectacular views overlooking the bay and Rockland waterfront. Comfy outdoor furniture -relax, read or have lunch on the sunny deck and watch the sailboats and seabirds. Inside, lg. screen TV with many channels and easy chairs. Perfect vacation!

Rosemary’s property is in a beautiful location close to Rockland. We enjoyed being able to take short drives to nature preserves, lighthouses and historic sites. The view from the deck is gorgeous. We were very fortunate to have a week of mostly dry weather to enjoy some relaxing time on the deck. We cooked all our fresh seafood meals in-house and the kitchen was well stocked for that purpose.

Great sunrises and views of the harbor

Great location to all the sites and activities surrounding the area. The cottage is perfect for 2 people. If you don't want a lot of excitement this place is for you. Enjoyed the daily feeding of the seagulls from the owner next door! Wonderful time.

Charming spot

We loved this cottage. So light and easy. The view over the water made it feel like being on a boat. The sunrise and sunset and the moonrise were all so beautiful. Sweet spot.
