AMAZING.This place is an absolute treasure of a find. I've traveled a lot and stayed at a lot of different properties. This has to be one of the best. Immaculate, beautifully themed, friendly reception and in a quiet pastoral setting yet close to where you want to be. Totally hassle free but a very comfortable experience which we all want on our journeys.I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again. I would add another star if I could .Well done!

Not just far above average, but lovingly designed and themed to reflect the quiet surroundings and traditional themes of the country, we instantly fell in love with this beautiful cottage. The only thing we regret is not being able to stay for longer.

Sarah and Allen were amazing hosts!We just wanted to take a moment to thank them for sharing their beautiful cottage with us. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home — warm, welcoming, and filled with such authentic Irish charm.Their lovely St. Patrick's Cottage made our time in Downpatrick especially meaningful, giving us the perfect place to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being together as a family. Spending precious time with our daughter and grandchildren in such a cozy and thoughtfully cared-for home made our stay all the more special.We are so grateful for their hospitality and for the care put into creating a place that feels both comfortable and heartfelt. It added so much to our experience and to the memories we’ll carry with us from Ireland.

Never happened!

We TRIED to book this property but the host never got in touch with us so we made other arrangements.

As soon as this guest booked with us we made immediate contact with them to inform them that some of their requested dates were unavailable and we offered them alternative dates which they said were unsuitable so we wished them well on their travels and said they were welcome to stay anytime. So for this guest to say we never made contact with them is a complete lie and we do not appreciate their comments and on reflection we would not welcome them to stay with us in the future.
