This lodge has stunning views of the valley below, set on a farm location it is rural and peaceful with lots of lovely woodland walks. Totally enclosed garden so that your pets and children can play safely while you relax on the decking area soaking up the tranquility of the surrounding nature and animals. Central location to visit West Wales coastlines & towns in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire or Cardiganshire with the nearest town of St Clears only 4 miles away which has all the amenities you need from shops to eating places, take aways. Nearest beaches are Pendine & Llanstephan and are only a 25 minute drive away with plenty of castles to explore too. Very relaxing location and a choice of exploring or just chilling out on the decking or lawn. There is a file provided in the lodge as well as leaflets of various places to visit in the area. There is also a children's park in the village of Meidrim which is only 2 miles away.

We stayed for a week with 5 Labradors and had the most relaxing stay. The views were stunning, plenty of walks! Louise was the nicest person and she put some lovely finishing touches in the lodge! We will definitely be back! Thank you

The best place to stay if you have a dog! Our dog loved the closed garden. Critical points for us were the absence of a washing machine and the poor kitchen equipment (we like to cook!), but overall we all enjoyed staying in the lodge, especially sharing the sofa area, reading, watching TV or playing boardgames. We had a great time together as a family.

This is a superb quiet location with local amenities a short drive away. The enclosed garden area is great for the dogs ..open the door and they're safe.If you enjoy star gazing this place is fantastic. Great view of the milky way and shooting stars!Just to add these aren't lodges but wood clad caravans, and are probably over-due a refurb/refresh. Louise is friendly and approachable.

Delightful and peaceful

We loved our time in the lodge! Even though we didn’t bring any pets, we appreciated the peaceful fenced garden and the lovely views. We enjoyed watching the horses and sheep have their breakfasts. And we made friends with the cat, too!

Was a little dissappinted as did not appear to be as shown in photos. It seemed a little tired. Bed unfortunately was not at all comfortable. Would benefit from a mattress topper. Other than that the grandchildren enjoyed their stay

The caravan (not a lodge, but wood clad caravan with the expected condensation) was spacious and adequate as a base. It is one of the few places that takes 4 dogs with an enclosed garden that I had seen and in fairness the enclosed garden was great for the dogs. The main bed matress was not the most comfortable but was ok. Good range of appliances in the small kitchen - but I had to clean the air fryer well as it had not been cleaned with the last paper still left in and grease all beneath. The local area is beautiful, with the nearest beach being great for a family day out. We tried one of the routes from the welcome pack but strongly advise against it as "route 2" led to a 5 hour hike through inappropriate terrain we called the owner for guidance but this was not forthcoming and left much to be desired. Despite the response from the owner i anticipate to this review, we have the route documented and photos along the way as evidence (given the overgrowth it definitely was not walked daily as we were told).

My stay with Louise was amazing. If you’re a dog owner, having an enclosed area where you can relax with them is worth its weight in gold! The large windows in the lounge area was perfect for watching the amazing sunsets over the valley. The lodge had everything you could want, down to the smallest detail. It was lovely to arrive at the property with fresh eggs and welsh tea cakes. Louise was the perfect host, responsive to txt if you needed her. Louise herself is quite inspiring, from having a full time work as well as taking care of livestock on the farm! Thank you Louise from the wonderful stay!

What a wonderful place. Louise was lovely and very helpful. Our 4 Chihuahua’s had a fantastic time. The garden was large and very secure and they were able to run around care free in-between being mesmerised by the horses in the nearby paddock. Very peaceful and a great place to chill, brilliant stay.
