We've just made our beautiful home available for holiday rentals.
* 5 minutes from beach with beautiful award winning coastline

*Close to railway station direct to Brighton and Lewes, with links to Gatwick, London and Eastbourne. Bus routes also nearby invluding fabulous trips along the coast to Brighton and Eastbourne

Youll feel cosseted from the moment you arrive at this beautiful cottage - each room has been thoughtfully furnished.
The sitting room/Dining area has three sofas providing plenty of comfy seating. Satellite with Smart TV. Fast speed WIFI. Gas wood burner effect in brick fireplace
The adjoining well equipped kitchen is bursting with good kit, including a Nespresso coffee machine, food mixer, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Elegant glassware, plates, cutlery and an extensive supply of cooking utensils and equipment to make cooking for eating in a pleasure, after fun days out exploring the local area. Thats if you dont feel like going out and sampling one of the many superb eating options in the town or adjacent villages
The main bedroom has a luxury Savoir King size bed and ensuite shower room/toilet
The second bedroom has two three foot comfortable beds
Both bedrooms have luxury bedlinen.
There is a bathroom/toilet in the main landing area
Outside there is a small courtyard to enjoy morning coffee/pre dinner drinks!

We had a very comfortable stay at Gannet Cottage. The beds were great, the showers were good. The kitchen was well equipped and the property was super convenient to visit the sea, the Seven Sisters and the town. The number 12 coastal bus is excellent for visiting Brighton and Eastbourne without the worry of parking.

Fantastic holiday home where we had a very enjoyable three weeks’ stay. Superb location, cosy and well-supplied interior.No WC on ground floor but it wasn’t a big issue.Would definitely go back. Love Seaford!

The house has an excellent location in the centre of Seaford, very near shops, restaurants and the beach. Free street parking nearby was always available. Furnishings are comfortable and pleasant.

The cottage is very well set up. The main bedroom is extremely comfortable, the ensuite and main bathroom with deep bath add to the ambiance. Sitting and dining areas are great, there is a full size oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The artwork and furnishings make the cottage feel like a home and not a rental. I thoroughly recommend the cottage as a very convenient and comfortable place to stay in the centre of Seaford.

This is a small but very conveniently placed property. It could best be described as a bit tired. There was a plug socket hanging off the wall in the lounge. The bathrooms, although mainly clean, could do with a deep clean. In the main bathroom the towel rail over the bath was coming out of the wall. There is no parking with the house but plenty if availability in nearby roads. Overall it was ok for 3 nights but no more.

The kids loved the authentic atmosphere of the accomodation, location is nice, parking in streets further down the road is ok. Furniture is a bit old, but still ok. Noise from the ventilation of the hotel next door is disturbing (bring earplugs) at night, and the main master bedroom doesn't have curtains, so very light in the morning. Perfect for early risers. Would still recommend.

We’re pleased that overall your family enjoyed your stay at our cottage and you would recommend to other travelers. Our furnishing style is to utilise quality items that reflect the authenticity of our period cottage which has always been appreciated by our previous guests, but we take on board that tastes differ. We were surprised to hear your observation about the main bedroom not having curtains and there being a problem with the morning light as there are shutters in this room as in the second bedroom and throughout the cottage which would normally suffice.

Cosy short stay

The house is lovely, cosy and clean and well-presented, and full of many glass and ceramic objets. The hosts were really responsive throughout our brief stay, which we arranged at very short notice.

Hello from Brian and Celia, We now live in France where we successfully rented our beautiful normandy cottage for holiday rentals for 5+ years. Last year we bought a lovely cottage in Seaford, which we stay in when we are over, but are making available for holiday rentals when we are not there. Therefore it is furnished with all the comforts of a home from home

We chose Seaford, due to its accessibility to the Newhaven port, but also its brilliant transport links by train and bus around the local area and to London. We enjoy being in the centre of a busy village with lots of independent and chain shops with a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes. We love being a short walk from the beach, with fabulous walks across the downs and a short drive from many picturesque villages
