The apartment has a perfect location — right in the city centre, next to the main square, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and all necessary amenities nearby. The beach is only about a 4-minute walk away, and there is also a supermarket close by, which is very convenient. The apartment is clean, tidy and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is not very spacious, but for two people it is absolutely perfect. A special charm comes from the old historic building itself, which reflects the unique atmosphere of Dalmatia. A special thank you to the owner for her exceptional kindness and hospitality. She took all our requests into consideration, was always available and even kindly picked us up from the bus arrival point. Since the apartment is located right in the centre, the area comes alive every evening — with people, music and concerts. For us, it was a wonderful part of the Makarska atmosphere and it did not bother us at all. We had a wonderful stay!

Great location in the city center, close to restau...

Great location in the city center, close to restaurants, markets, shops, and about 15 minutes to the (very crowded) beach. However, the photos were misleading, showing two different apartments (which we didn’t understand in time of booking). We got a ground-floor studio that was extremely dark and stuffy, with almost no ventilation since it was too noisy in the evenings to keep doors open. The whole Studio had only only one tiny window in the bathroom, and the air conditioning smelled unpleasant. While the place was newly renovated and clean, the price was far too high for what we got. I would not book it again.
