Dear Madam, Thank you for your detailed review. We are pleased to know that you found our apartment clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for visiting the city. We also appreciate your kind words about our flexibility in bringing your check-in forward to 10:30 a.m. instead of 2:00 p.m., as stated in our rules and conditions, and about the ease of communication with us. Regarding the heating, as established by the Municipality of Milan—similarly to other municipalities in Northern Italy—the central heating in residential buildings was scheduled to be turned on on October 15th, which coincided with the start date of your reservation. The system operates at set times and is programmed to maintain a constant temperature throughout the day. Being located on the upper floor, the apartment also benefits from the warmth of the units below. During the first few days after activation, it is possible that the system does not yet reach full heat output, although the temperature inside the apartment was around 20–21°C. As indicated both in the listing and at the time of booking, an initial supply is provided at check-in, which includes: a few laundry and dishwasher pods, some detergents, hand paper, ​few rolls of toilet paper for the bathroom, coffee​, the and sugar, recycling bags, and samples of bathroom products. Cooking essentials such as salt, oil, or similar items are not included. The welcome kit is an additional courtesy we offer to ensure guests have what they need for the first days of their stay. As you mentioned, we are always available to assist our guests. If you had let us know about the mosquitoes, we could have shown you where to find electric repellents nearby or brought some to you ourselves. The cleaning fee includes both linen and final cleaning. As specified in our listings, separate waste collection—which is mandatory in Milan—is the exclusive responsibility of guests. We believe that disposing of one’s own waste in the building’s designated bins, located just a few floors away, is a minimal but reasonable contribution to maintaining order and cleanliness. Finally, the apartment overlooks a lush and peaceful internal courtyard, and nearby there is also a beautiful park where guests can enjoy tranquility despite being in the heart of Milan. It is therefore quite likely that the noise you experienced was an isolated case, as we have never received similar feedback in the past. ​B​est regards
