Sunny 4-6 person detached waterfront holiday home.

Our small-scale holiday park De Tulpenacker boasts a unique waterfront location on the edge of a small village called Roelofarendsveen. Here, you'll experience the tranquility of the meadows surrounding you, yet entertainment is close by. Major cities like Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem, Gouda, and Leiden are easily accessible by car. Keukenhof Gardens and the beach are also nearby. It's the ideal place to holiday with your family, friends, and relatives. Enjoy a luxurious, active, and relaxing holiday. 

 

These sunny detached accommodations were built in 2023. Everything is located on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, induction cooktop, combination oven, large refrigerator, and all kitchen accessories. The house has two separate bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed (160 x 210 cm) and the other with two single beds. The living room can be transformed into a third bedroom by folding out a comfortably made queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm) above the sofa.
In good weather, you can enjoy your own spacious garden and waterfront veranda. Each accommodation has its own private boat dock and swim ladder.

 

From our park, you can enjoy beautiful boat trips, cycling trips, and hiking trails. Exploring the waters by SUP or canoe is great fun. The SUPs and canoes are free to use. You can fish from your own garden (no permit required). You can rent an electric boat and electric bicycles at reception. During the holidays, you can use our bread delivery service.

Easy access for fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking was excellent. The boat rental was great and enjoyed travelling to Wagenaar and the local shops. The local facilities were far better than we realized. The shops had everything we needed. Erin, Kim and all the other staff we met were all very helpful. We really appreciated Erin's advice to visit Leiden. We had trips to Amsterdam, Leiden and the Hague and all were easily accessible.

It was a peaceful setting on a small canal in a quiet community, centrally located between key cities if traveling by car. Across the canal was farmland and we enjoyed visits by the local dog and cat. Inside, there was a mini split in the living area so the 2 bedroom doors either needed to be left open, or you could open bedroom windows; however, there were no insect screens. The kitchen basics were provided. There was hand soap in the bathroom but no body soap/gel, shampoo or conditioner, so be sure to bring some. Overall, a lovely stay.

The children had a wonderful time with the kayaks and all the fun on the water. It is truly a unique place, and we were very happy with the accommodation. We hope we will have the opportunity to return in the future.
