Wonderful hideaway

The tiny house was perfect!! Bed was super comfy with a view out to the hills. The living space was cosy and had everything you could need. Loved staying there

I went for 2 night with my partner and our dog. We had the best time and would definetly love to go back. Highly recommend! :)

A perfect quiet break

A gorgeous tiny house, which has obviously been lovingly made. Perfectly equipped for a short stay, close to Ballater, great for walking, hiking and biking trails. A beautiful morning view and very cosy. Will be back!

Very nice place to stay - we enjoyed it very much.Also the hot tub was nice - it was afterwards a bit difficult tor dry the towels since it was raining that evening. It might be a good idea to provide more towels. We didnt like that dogs from other guests were running all over the loaction.

Perfect place for a couple of days in the cairngorms.

Very cute wee house. We spent a couple of days visiting Ballater and Braemar, and this was a great base. You can walk into Ballater from here which was great. A lot of wildlife literally on the door step, we watched the birds and wee mammals every morning. It’s a shared area with a few different holiday lettings on site.

At first, I was a little nervous because the place seemed so small, and this was my first time staying at a place like this. Still, I didn't regret one moment, I would stay here again if I ever come back to this area. The location was perfect for hiking. Balmoral estate. The place itself was spotless, with a comfortable, loft bed and sofa. Sitting on the porch with morning coffee and evening drinks was perfect, especially on the swing. The shower water/hotness was not a problem, and we found it enjoyable. The location was close enough to Ballater for dinner and drinks. We did a fantastic hike and had lunch near Braemar. We also visited the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, where I had an excellent mixed drink with whiskey, despite not being a whiskey drinker. In contrast, my friend enjoyed the tubing in a hot tub, which was a nice feature after hiking to relax and enjoy nature. Also, the ability to walk down and sit your feet into the River Dee was a fun adventure. If you are looking for a more sustainable, local, quiet stay in a small house in the Highlands, I highly recommend this place staff and owners were extremely friendly, accommodating and communicative

Just lovely. A 2-3 mile walk into Ballanter, directly from the property. Very pretty, wildlife is entertaining.
