Estate of three stunning listed cottages set in private gated grounds. Lakes, lawns and orchards wrap around the houses with exclusive access to a beautiful heated swimming pool, open May to September in a village setting with pubs, restaurant and with Leeds castle just over a mile away.
On the historic estate of a stunning Queen Anne manor a party of upto 14 guests and 3 pets can enjoy exclusive access to 3 cottages set in 2 acres of landscaped grounds. The Oast has 3 bedrooms (6 guests) all ensuite the cottage has 3 bedrooms with two bathrooms (6 Guests) and the barn is a one bedroom suite with private bathroom ( 2 Guests). All cottages have their own kitchens and living space with tv PlayStation and outdoor bbq and furniture.
The nearby area is perfectly located for exploring the county of Kent The Garden of England. Walks from the estate lead directly on to the famous pilgrims way and North downs way footpaths.
A train station under a mile away gives access to direct trains to London or Canterbury in an hour .

Our group stayed in all 3 properties and they are all beautiful and exceptionally well equipped. The grounds are stunning, with ample outside seating to enjoy watching the birds and butterflies. The swimming pool, table tennis & pool tables were a lot of fun as well. Fantastic walks on the chalkhill downs, the vineyard next door, great local pubs and friendly helpful hosts, we'd definitely stay again.

Lovely home from home vacation. Just returned from the weekend. All 3 homes very well equipped with everything you need. Bedrooms very spacious and big. Lovely bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Swimming pool is set away from the house which made it a safe environment. Lots of parking and it was good to also have the smaller annex, which meant we could escape the children! Only concern was the lack of fences around the big ponds, that were both sides of the house as this was quite dangerous for our younger children however good opportunities to feed the ducks. Lots of outside seating, brilliant when sun was out, sadly it rained lots but we made the most of the outside areas when we could. Host is very good and lives on site so handy if needed. Would recommend

A good host who was very responsive. Great set of 3 cottages shared by 9 of us comfortably over the holiday season. Plenty of kitchen equipment for all our culinary needs… brilliant!!

Accommodation perfect for our needs. We felt very welcome, free to come and go, and everything we needed was there. Kitchens and bathrooms perfect. Bar-B-Q and outdoor activities great, especially the full use of the pool. The property is looking a bit overgrown,and in need of some TLC but for our 3 generations family get-together we couldnt have asked for more.

Fantastic secluded secure holiday

We spent a week at Penn Court Estate, it was the perfect get away for our family holiday this year. The cottages are lovely and well equipped, comfy beds, good living spaces and plenty of bathrooms. The estate is very secure, quite and pretty, the children in our group had a wonderful time running through the trees and playing in the very clean pool. It was great, the pool opening times 10am-5:30pm really helped us manage the children’s and made for a very relaxing break. We didn’t venture out much as the weather was so good that we spent the week beside the pool and eating in the gardens! Craig was fantastic with communication throughout the booking process and we hope to be back again soon! Thank you

The setting of the 3 properties was perfect for 12 family members, 6 in each house & 2 of us in the barn. We had fantastic weather and made the most of the outdoor heated pool. Unfortunately we had a wasp problem in one of the properties, although it was being dealt with. Surrounding area was lovely for a group walk with a stop at the Dirty Habit pub. Food looked amazing. Local Chinese takeaway which was a 10 min drive. Overall perfect & would stay again. Would recommend.

We had a great holiday at Penn Court, much enjoyed by all the family (13 of us, age range 2-80 years). The three separate and spacious holiday lets easily accommodated us all. It’s a wonderful place for children with extensive grounds and a good sized swimming pool. Hollingbourne is a pleasant, quiet village, with good pubs and a community café at the railway station (frequent trains to London Victoria). There’s a very wide range of places to visit, with numerous historic properties, many of them National Trust. Leeds Castle is only a couple of miles away, with lots of things for to do (entry tickets are valid for a year from date of purchase so ideal for the children). Very strongly recommended.
