Good location for visiting the area. The town, pubs and beach all within walking distance. The beach is lovely. Good to have a drive to park on and the garden is a good size.

Good property, very spacious for six of us, with everything that we needed for our weekend away. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach, via the castle grounds, and there are lots of other local attractions within 30 minutes drive so a good spot overall.

We had a lovely holiday. Great location for the beach, we didn’t need the car just a short walk through the castle grounds. Great outdoor facilities at the house, we had 3 bbqs and the grandkids played football every night in the garden.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean and well looked after house. Came with everything we needed and there was lots to do nearby too. House is well equipped and cosy. Would recommend.

Lovely house near attractive beach

We enjoyed staying in this recently modernised house in Highcliffe, with a downstairs bedroom for someone with limited mobility and very flexible living accommodation. Especially inviting was the garden which was great for a drink in the afternoon/evening. Within walking distance of Highcliffe castle and cafe, there are also plenty of places to see and eat nearby.

Every need catered for. For young and old.

Property in very good condition. Comfortable furnishings. Excellent location with good walks for nature spotting. Even though we really appreciated it for an autumn break, we can see what a Godsend it would be in the summer months where you could take better advantage of the garden facilities and BBQ. An easy 10 out of 10. Thanks Helen.

A Happy and comfotable stay

Helen has taken every care in equipping the house and so there is everything for a comfortable stay. It has a nice size garden with loungers and table and chairs . It is close to Highcliffe castle and the sandy beach but beware its nice going down to the beach but requires effort to come back up ! Helen s communication is second to none I thoroughly recommend this letting. PS The Lord Bute just up the road does lovely Lunches and Dinners.

We had a wonderful stay

We came for a family birthday and had a wonderful stay. There was 8 of us including a dog and a baby, there was so much room so we didn’t ever feel on top of each other. The living space was very nice and exceptionally clean, the bedrooms were spacious and there was two en-suites which was a massive bonus. It’s only a 5 minute to everything you could ask for, beach, pubs, restaurants, castle and shops. It’s also a very short drive to the new forest lymington and other local sea side towns. We will definitely be back soon, thank you for being such a tentative and helpful host! Helen was very quick to answer and questions we had.

we had a wonderful weeks stay here. The house had all the amenities we needed. Four generous sized bedrooms and a lovely open living area downstairs with plenty of space inside and outside for kids to play. It is a 7-8 minute walk to the beach (either down stairs or level access) walking through Highcliffe castle grounds to get there. The beaches were beautifully clean, not busy and perfect for swimming. Lots to do nearby and Avon beach and Mudeford not far (Avon walkable, Mudeford better by car). Also used nearby skate park and crazy gold (both about 10 mins drive). Driveway parked 3 cars. Very easy to access to major roads. Great communication before, during and after the stay from the hosts. We'd love to visit again.

What a lovely property

A grandmother, two daughters and four granddaughters came to stay . Easy to find house and easy access,. What a beautiful house, open plan, clean, roomy... lovely garden. The kitchen was very well equipped, over and above expectations... The little walk to Highcliffe Castle and beach led us to a high spot and within minutes we were on the beach. The walk to the nearest cafe was just under a mile and the walk home was through a Forest trail... It was pretty nigh perfect in spite of the weather... Thank you for a lovely place to spend a family holiday with people from 5-72..

Tolles Ferienhaus

Wir haben ein paar tolle Tage in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Es waren nur ein paar Meter zum Strand und die Kommunikation mit Helen war einfach und wir haben immer sofort eine Antwort bekommen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
