This place is located close to the Govan Subway Station and just two stops from Kelvinhall and seven stops from the Glasgow city centre. This makes this place a perfect base for anyone visiting Glasgow who wants to explore all the attractions that the city has to offer. Plus, there's free parking available, which can be a rare find in the city! Well equipped with everything you'll need to have an enjoyable stay. With plenty of shops nearby, you'll have everything you need at your fingertips.

Please note that while we provide free parking on the street outside our building, parking availability can be limited during busy times. We recommend that guests plan accordingly or consider using public transportation when exploring the city.

This apartment is really only okay. It’s clean and spacious and has what you need but the pictures are a little misleading. Everything in the apartment feels a little cheap and cold. There were no hand towels, only exactly as many towels as people, the doors to rooms have to be propped open, and the whole place has a bit of a student housing feel. On top of that, it’s excessively loud and the neighborhood is rough around the edges so really not the nicest if you’re visiting and wanting to explore Glasgow. It’s not particularly easy to just pop out for groceries or food. Finally, it was a little frustrating that the host only gave us one key for four people when we were staying four nights!

Great place, inside is very cozy and we slept great. It is on a busy corner so it was noisy during the day with the windows open. Super close to the train station.

We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Govan Road apartment. Clean, nicely decorated and cozy. Great location close to subway for easy access to Glasgow city amenties. We didn't need a car to see nearly all of Scotland from Glasgow to Fort Augustus. Stephanie was a very accommdating host! Many thanks!

The description is very accurate and we really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for our top sites (Riverside Museum, Glasgow Science Centre, and the Kelvingrove Museum). The subway was indeed very close and we found the shops/cafes around it convenient.My husband found the light from the fire station across the street to be annoying overnight, but a sleep mask solved that problem. We definitely didn't want to sleep with the windows open due to the road noise, but even though we were there when it got pretty warm we had no real trouble keeping the place comfortable.

The unit itself was good - clean, enough space for the four of us, newer kitchen and amenities, etc. Our only concern was the location. It wasn’t walking distance to anything we would want to see in Glasgow, and the neighborhood was sort of run-down. It wasn’t a nice part of town. If we were to go to Glasgow again, we would stay on the other side of the River in West End or closer to City Centre.

This was a lovely spot for us in our trip through Scotland. Directions were clear and parking on site was easy since we had a rental car. The metro was just a block or so away and having a grocery store nearby made it easy to dine in for a few nights. The cookware could use a little refreshing but that was the only item of note. Loved it and would absolutely stay again next time we come through.
