South Barn, Nr Southwold

This charming holiday home is in a peaceful spot in the village of Wangford with it's well-stocked village shop and local pub, just a short drive to the delightful seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk Coast. South Barn has the benefit of off road parking, a private enclosed garden and spacious and sociable accommodation with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.

LIVING/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
You’re welcomed directly into a bright and sociable open plan living area with original oak beams, a polished wood floor and rugs. A dining table and four chairs sits to one side of the kitchen so you can cater at home, and the comfortable sitting area has two leather sofas, a light oak coffee and occasional tables so you can relax in front of the TV which has full HD digital service and a separate DVD/CD player, plus Radio/iPod dock.
The kitchen is well-designed with good storage space and worktop area. Appliances include an electric oven, separate grill, four ring hob, a microwave, dishwasher, under counter fridge, handheld blender, scales, toaster and a kettle.

LOBBY
The lobby off the main room has a stable door giving access to the terrace and garden, a tiled floor (ideal for boots after a good walk!) and relatively steep wooden stairs to the first floor landing with a handrail to steady you. The washing machine and freezer are housed here, as is the utility cupboard, ironing board, iron and cleaning items.

CLOAKROOM
Conveniently off the lobby, simply with WC and handbasin.

FIRST FLOOR
MAIN BEDROOM AND EN-SUITE BATHROOM
This spacious beamed and vaulted bedroom has wonderful views over the woodland and fields. The double bed with Sealy mattress sits on a polished wooden floor with thick rugs and there’s plenty of space to unpack and settle in with bedside cupboards, a wardrobe with draw and a chest of drawers, as well as a chair, mirror, hairdryer, and blackout blinds.
EN-SUITE
A modern bathroom fitted with a non-slip bath and hand shower, heated towel rail (towels for all guests are provided), a large baggage storage cupboard, WC, wash basin, shaver point and shaving mirror.

BEDROOM TWO
Enjoy the morning breeze and countryside views from the Juliet balcony off this room overlooking the farmhouse, barns, woods and fields. The double bed sits between bedside cupboards and there’s a gentleman’s wardrobe with drawers and a vanity mirror above, as well as a separate chest of drawers and a chair.

BATHROOM TWO
This 2nd smart bathroom also has a non-slip bath with a safety handrail and full overhead shower, a WC, a heated towel rail, natural light, and wash handbasin plus illuminated mirror.

GARDEN AND PARKING
This detached holiday cottage is surrounded by countryside with a private garden laid to lawn and paved pathway around the barn to the rear terrace with garden table and chairs. There’s secure parking at the rear of the garden with space for two cars and secure cycle brackets for cyclists who are sure to enjoy the maze of undulating country roads starting from the doorstep to the coast or inland.

Please note that the maximum occupancy at South Barn is four guests and the prooperty is in a peaceful rural area with a few neighbours so please keep noise to a minimum.
