Belle maison de South Lake Tahoe avec bain à remous, table de billard et de nombreux autres équipements!

Profitez de cette magnifique maison de plus de 2 900 pieds carrés. Il y a quatre chambres spacieuses, deux salles de bains et demie et une salle de jeux en mezzanine avec table de billard, fléchettes, poufs, futon, jouets pour enfants, etc.

Les installations comprennent un grand bain à remous extérieur privé sur le pont supérieur, la suite principale (lit king), deux autres chambres avec 1 lit queen dans chaque chambre, et la 4ème chambre a un lit Queen et un lit double (idéal pour une famille) et nous avons également un futon dans la salle familiale pouvant accueillir 2 personnes. Cuisine avec tous les appareils haut de gamme et ustensiles de cuisine fournis.

Il y a une grande salle à manger formelle avec des sièges pour dix. L'escalier en colimaçon mène à la mezzanine qui a la table de billard. La suite principale spacieuse a un lit king, une baignoire jacuzzi et une douche séparée, une grande vanité et un dressing. Internet sans fil et barbecue à gaz sont également fournis.

La forêt nationale juste en face offre de superbes sentiers de randonnée et de VTT. Trois minutes à Heavenly, 3 minutes en voiture du lac Tahoe et 6 minutes des casinos. (Nous avons un minimum de deux nuits.)

Great Tahoe home for summer or winter

We sincerely enjoyed our stay at Dagmar’s home. The location is very central to the South Lake region and makes getting around very easy. We will certainly keep Dagmar’s home in mind for future visits to Tahoe.

Beautiful cabin, great location

My friends and I stayed one night after going off-roading. The cabin was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly, including four parking spaces, a hot tub, and a pool table. The location was ideal. We had a great time!

Winter wonderland trip

I can tell you it is the place to be if you are looking for a clean comfortable feels like home stay. We enjoyed our time here and everything is well stocked. Beds are comfortable and hot tub was great. We cooked gumbo and left our seasonings for the next guests with all the others that are there.

Winter journey to Tahoe

Nice location and clean property. All items were in good working order and hot tub too! We enjoyed all of the amenities that were offered. The Pool Table is dated and needs to be replaced in the future but overall fun to use. We had a great time!

Delightful home with all the things!

We had a blast in this home. it was the perfect place for our group, or any group looking for comfortable mattresses, a well stocked kitchen, tons of games, and beautiful scenery. We even had our own private sledding hill that was carved out for the guests. Dagmar was incredibly communicative before and during our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Was a very beautiful cabin. Dagmar was so easy to work with and so friendly and accommodating. location is great and the cabin was so warm and cozy when we arrived. Kitchen has absolutely everything you could need. we cooked the entire time we were up there. my grandson loved all the toys in the loft and the pool table as well.

Great stay near Heavenly Ski Resort

We booked this home in large part to the many favorable reviews on VRBO. The home met and exceeded our expectations. It was just as described on the website. We had a very enjoyable stay and the home was very clean, well appointed with comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen and a nice new hot tub on the deck. Dagmar was very good at communicating and responsive to a few questions we had once we had checked in. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Family ski vacation

The best part of our vacation rental was dealing with Dagmar. She was very accommodating and flexible regarding check in and check out times and procedures. Her home was perfect for our needs, spacious common areas to gather multi generational families together, easy access to the ski areas, and plenty of outside space for snow play. Everyone had a wonderful time and is looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Better than advertised

I have stayed in several higher end cabins in Lake Tahoe, this was one of the best. Very clean, comfortable cabin with every amenity thought of. A very well appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Dagmar the host was extremely welcoming and responsive. The location is off of a busy street but there is a trail to the national park within a few hundred yards of the front door. The cabin is within minutes of restaurants, Heavenly Village and Stateline. Look forward to staying here again.

Great experience!

We had a great stay at this property. Well appointed and as advertised. Super fun, homemade sledding hill right next to the house was a special treat! Dagmar is a fantastic communicator, checking in regularly while not being the least bit intrusive. Super easy check in/out process. I do agree with previous renters that the bedding needs an upgrade but it would not prevent us from renting again in the future. Thanks Dagmar!

Good little weekend cottage

Checkin could be easier with electronic keypad rather than mailing a key. Cottage was nice. It was hot in Tahoe while we were there and no A/C so sleeping was a bit difficult. A bit tight in the downstairs bedrooms with 6 people. Fair amount of road noise as it’s right next to a major road. Didn’t realize 3 bedrooms were all next to one another. We enjoyed ourselves though and liked the porch/deck for sitting in the mornings and evenings.

Thank you for your review. We were actually in the process of installing a key box, which has now been installed making check-in and check-out much easier and no more hassle with FedExing the key. As for the AC, up in the mountain’s in Tahoe the temperatures rarely get to where AC is needed. We’ve had an unusually hot summer thus far. Which was unfortunately during the time while you occupied the home. No AC is also noted in the description of the home. In regards to the road noise, were, right off of Pioneer Trail which is a must for any winter visitors as otherwise our home would be difficult to get to as not all roads are plowed as a first priority and our winter guests are grateful for the home location for the easy access. Additionally, quick access to Pioneer Trail takes you to all entertainment venues around South Lake as well as easy access to grocery stores and gas stations.

Great location/great communication

The property was as described in the listing. It was a great location off of Pioneer Trail...to grocery store, easy access to highway 50, casinos and skiing. It was great to have a hot tub, pool table and games. The kitchen was one of the best stocked vacation rental kitchens I've stayed in. It had lots of cookware and dishes and even some unexpected things like a coffee bean grinder, garlic press, etc. Communication with the owner was fantastic. She texted me the day before our arrival to advise me of a storm coming in around our check in time, and said that we could check in early to avoid traffic coming in. We will definitely keep this property on our list for Tahoe!! Thanks for a great stay!

Lots of little things to improve

The property has lots of potential, but the visit has lots of small annoyances. The property itself is large and a really nice common area. It does not have AC which was a problem both on 90-degree days and in bedrooms very close to a busy road. The bedding is really old and should be replaced. There are also cobwebs in the corners. One tv was probably bought in the 1990s. We werent convinced the owner is committed to being a host of guests. The property is peppered with messages of dos and donts. There had to be 5 no smoking signs in every area. The owner has a release in his contract letting you know that you might being filmed on a security camera and details out a list of fines for various things- adjusting the temp on the hot tub, touching the thermostat, extra bags of trash and more. One annoyance was the instruction to leave and put away dishes in the morning with a 10am check out. It all created an unnecessary stress on a group of clean and good intentioned adults. The house could be fantastic for a few thousand with new tvs, purging the granny furniture, a couple of window AC units in the summer, and new bedding.

Thank you for your review. As for your comments, you are correct the home does not have AC which is stated in the home description as well as the rental agreement. You stated it was 90 degrees in South Lake and we’ve never hit a high of 90 ever in September. As for the AC, up in the mountain’s in Tahoe the temperatures rarely get to where AC is needed. All the bedding has been upgraded, thank you for your suggestion. As for the cobwebs, this is a mountain home and cobwebs form overnight, I hope this is apparent to anyone looking to rent a mountain home. The older TV’s have been replaced with flat screen smart TV’s so thank you for that suggestion. As for the putting away of the dishes and picking up, this is a standard basic rental home property rule, unless the prospective party would like to pay an extra cleaning fee. In the 17 years of renting our home you were the first group to have an issue with leaving the home as it was upon arrival. As for the extra bags of trash this is BEAR COUNTRY and they have broken into the home before due to renters not being BEAR AWARE and being naive. As for the furniture and décor of the home, we furnished the home to our liking not renters. If the furniture was going to be an issue, you should have reviewed the photos carefully as they are a clear representation of the properties furnishing and you should have booked another home more in line with your expectations and desires. Once again, thank you for some of your suggestions in improving the home as we did take to heart a couple of them and address them.

Ultra relaxing property. Very conveniently located to everything. NOTE NO AC so if air conditioning is what you want this is not the home for you. BUT we have an amazing heater and a crackling wood burning fireplace.
