Enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, modern and looked like the listing. Everything was in working order. Had everything we needed for 3 night stay. Host was always responsive. The location was great for us to explore different areas outside of ReykjavĂ­k.

We loved our stay here. The inside and the outside of this rental are beautiful. Communication with the host was great. The kitchen is nicely stocked. The outside area is very large and offered several sitting areas for both relaxing and eating. The host provided great information for fetures in the house. Wold love to stay here again. If this place is available, you should be making your reservation.

Our stay was super relaxing. The home was actually better than expected. And communication with the host was quick and responsive. We had no issues whatsoever. The little town was great. Had some nice options for dinner. We really used the home as base camp as we explored as many areas within Iceland that our brief time allowed. Highly recommend and we would be happy to stay here again.

Best VRBO ever!

We absolutely loved our experience and stay at Bjarki‘s home! It was a great launching point for our adventures to the Golden Circle, Vik, etc, and it was the best home we have ever stayed in! They thought of everything!!! We would definitely come back here!

Warm and toast on a chilly trip

We loved our time here. Lovely home, warm floors in the bathroom, hot tub, seeing northern lights from the back yard and quick WiFi. The only request would be to add directions for the appliances.i was lost using them as an older mom.

Beautiful modern home conveniently located

An immaculate home with a lot of modern features. The location was perfect for our needs and itinerary and the host was very responsive. You will be very comfortable staying here. One important callout is that it is not 2 full bathrooms. Its 1.25 bathrooms (1 shower, 2 toilets) so if you are concerned about sharing a shower for your group size then this is good to know. The house is truly beautiful and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Amazing home! Would definitely stay here again!

House was immaculate, clean and spacious. Owner was super helpful and always quick to respond. Kitchen was stocked w/ all appliances, dishes, silverware, etc. needed for a comfy stay w/ light cooking. Great neighborhood and had 2 nights of Northern Lights gazing from the hot tub! Two notes: Google maps is not accurate, so getting to the correct street was tricky. Upstairs bathroom does not have a shower or tub -- sink and toilet only, but we made that work just fine.

Great Property

This house was gorgeous. They had all of the appliances you could want. It was down the road from gas stations and their supermarket. The town was quiet at night with not a lot of light pollution. They offer Netflix, Amazon Video, and Disney + on the tv which was nice. There are two bathrooms and the bathroom upstairs had a heated floor. We took our 20 month old and we had 3 adults staying there. There was a high chair and a crib for the toddler. My only real complaint was the stairs didn’t have child proofing so we would lock the door to the baby’s room at night just to be on the safe side since all of the bedrooms are upstairs and we had to move several of the decorations from curious little hands so they didn’t get damaged or broken. Also the upstairs was pretty cold at night compared to downstairs. Overall this was a great property and we were very happy with our stay.

Excellent Stay!

Super easy check-in! Just a code for key access and you’re in! It’s a smart house, so things like Alexa control the lights and hot tub! If you get the right night, even the pictures of the northern lights in the listing didn’t fail us. We saw them from the hot tub on our last night. Might have been more, but lots of rain during our stay. The town has a great bakery, pizza place & brewery with great staff and prices. Don’t miss the 4-mile round trip hike to the hot spring in town. The washer/dryer came to good use. Plenty of towels, and kitchen cooking items. Turns out, both bathrooms have a shower. Our host was very responsive when I reached out, and surprisingly almost no significant instructions upon check-out. Only negative I can speak to is there are few power outlets in the walls, and some are in inconvenient locations. Some of them, when plugging in, are loose so your adapter becomes too heavy and falls out of the outlets. Simply replacing some outs or adding some new ones would be helpful. Besides that, amazing experience in this house.

The house was just as pictured. Beds were comfy, house was clean, hot tub and sauna were awesome, and kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. This was a great place!
