We were a party of 11, nine adults and two toddlers and the house was well equipped to accommodate all of our needs. We had a marvelous time, enjoyed numerous activities away from property as well as on property with the abundant space available to us. The property is well located, particularly for those who are interested in doing a lot of Golden Circle activities, which are mostly south east of Reykjavík. we would highly recommend this home for your Iceland visit.

Outstanding location with beautiful views overlooking a tranquil river in back. Our host, Kristin, was fantastic. She responded to every inquiry within a short period of time and answered every question in detail. The house was well equipped and was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 children.

It was a perfect place to jump off of for activities on the South Coast, Reykjanes Peninsula, Golden Circle, Vik, Reykjavik and Keflavik. It was a roomy and comfortable home. The kitchen is a bit small for multiple people to be cooking at the same time, but that wasn't a problem.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location and views by the water were absolutely wonderful. The house had plenty of space for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful property!

Our group of 11 had a great time at this property. We saw the northern lights from the jacuzzi that we enjoyed nightly. The food and people in town were lovely. I would highly recommend this property.

Couples getaway

We had an excellent stay in Hveragerdi in Kristin's lovely quiet home on the river Varma. There were many indoor and outdoor options for us, lots of space for 4 couples and the how tub by the river was perfect! The village and trails are minutes away on foot and it's a quiet beautiful location!

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. It was a great size for our party. The beds were extremely comfortable. Awesome house in a cute town

Our group of 11 stayed at this house for a week and had an amazing time. We had plenty of space to spread out in the house and the hot tub on the river was a great way to cap off our days of adventuring. The house is within walking distance to town and it is also in a good location to explore Golden Circle, South Coast, and Reykjavik.

Marvelous Experience

Facilities were perfect for our diverse group of 11. Beautiful location along a river and close to town making it easy to see the sights and shop for supplies with plenty of restaurants available. Also, hosts were always available and more than willing to answer questions.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway

We rented the house as a Christmas getaway for 8 adults to relax and hopefully see the northern lights. No luck on the northern lights but the host, house, and location were all perfect! The hot tub on the river and the wood burning fireplace were winter highlights for us with the house. We also appreciated the proximity to the nearby geothermal area. We would definitely stay again!

Our First Trip to Iceland

The property is located in the picturesque, quaint town of Hveragerdi, far enough from Reykjavik to feel a sense of remoteness but close enough to make day trips to the city. It was clean and very much as advertised. We made great use of the hot tub. I would highly recommend this property.

Christmas in Iceland

This is a spacious property. With good bedrooms and common spaces. The location is beautiful and house is well situated. Lovely views of river and mountains. The host was very helpful when we had questions. Easy walk into the town and town was very friendly and met our needs. The house is in a good location for seeing much of the golden circle. We all had a wonderful time
