Overall, our stay was good, and the apartment itself had recently been remodeled, which was a nice touch. It was clean inside and, while compact, it adequately accommodated our family of five. The A/C was also a positive addition to the apartment, for the primary bedroom. There were, however, a few issues that affected our experience. The biggest frustration was check-in. We did not receive the door access code until about an hour after the scheduled check-in time, leaving us stranded outside with our family and luggage. Once we were finally able to get in, the process was smooth, but the delay was stressful and could have been avoided with better communication.The building itself was also disappointing. While the apartment had been updated, the common areas were not very clean and had a strong, unpleasant odor. Additionally, there were no bed sheets available when we arrived, which was inconvenient after a long day of traveling.Overall, the remodeled apartment was comfortable enough for our family, but improvements in communication, basic amenities, and the cleanliness of the building would make for a much better guest experience.

The remodeled interior and a working A/C for the primary bedroom clearly made the stay more comfortable, and it's good to know the space worked well for your family of five. That said, we're sorry the check-in delay left you waiting outside with luggage — that kind of uncertainty at the start of a trip is genuinely frustrating, and the timing of the access code is something we'll look into. Great location to walk to the old town. Clean & had been renovated. The beds were comfortable. But the unit was very small & could only accommodate 5 if they were a family with small children. There was no lounge room: there was a breakfast bar & desk in the master bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms could only fit single beds (one room had 2 offset to fit 2, but then the reading lights were at the foot of each bed). Only the master bedroom had an air conditioner, but it didn’t actually cool. Other rooms were very hot & no fans - outside was noisy so couldn’t open the windows to sleep. The kitchen was tiny - 1 person only. Had washing machine but only a drying rack. The bathroom was smaller than an ensuite. The windows needed blackout curtains. There was no storage for suitcases- we used the spare beds. Housekeeping was sub-par: master bedroom had a single flat sheet on the bottom ( it only covered the top of the bed & couldn’t be tucked in). The pillows were worn out & there weren’t enough pillow slips. Despite booking 3 people only the master bed was made. Linen was insufficient & towels were small. Booking host responded usually within 24 hours but could only provide generic advice - they obviously didn’t have accurate specific information about the apartment. The was no English instructions (actually, no instructions) Unit was really only suitable for a couple.

We're sorry that so much of the stay fell short of what was described and what your group reasonably needed. The concerns around sleeping comfort — the bedding setup, worn pillows, insufficient linen and the air conditioning not cooling — as well as the layout and capacity information are things we will look into carefully. Your note about the lack of instructions and the limits of the advice we were able to give remotely is also something we'll be reviewing.
