The flat was in a great location with lovely restaurants nearby

The flat was in a great location with lovely restaurants nearby. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is a persistent drain smell coming from one of the bathrooms. The hosts were responsive and poured large amounts of drain cleaner down the shower drain in an attempt to fix it, but the smell came back a dayso later. We decided against raising it with the hosts a second time as we didn't think another dose of drain cleaner would fix it

Super trip: July 2025

We booked a week here following a week in a large villa on the coast. We explained to our three teens that they needed to manage their expectations but there was no need. The apartment was a revelation. Great location, spotlessly clean, spacious, well furnished, excellent kitchen and aircon. A problem with the washing machine was sorted incredibly quickly by the Majordoms team. We love Banyoles and would stay again here in a heartbeat. Many thanks.

Comfortable apartment in Banyoles. Beautiful, nice community. Caring, communicate property.

Very nice apartment. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Air conditioning kept the rooms cool in >90 F temps. Next door construction, restaurants, bars - did not disturb the apt. Very convenient 0.5 mi walk to lake. 5 min to Placa Major. 10 min to cycle to Rocacorba for some hill repeats. Nice, easier location for family vs Girona. Aldi, Mercadona, Bonpreu, Condis, many grocery stores nearby. Easy access to Andorra and France, coast. Paid parking in adjacent squarestreet parking 5-10 min walk, parked mostly street but adjacent square parking for elderly family helped, 23 euro overnight. Very nice neighbors, people living in the building. Beautiful watching rowers at the lakeenjoying the Placa's. (like visiting a relative's apt - everything needed for a nice stay) Wonderfully bright during the day. Could have better family room lighting at night, comfortable (like sleep setting on your phone), not a big deal.

Clean and tidy apartment with a lot of space. Great location near supermarket and only 5mins walk to the lake. Well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities I would stay again

it was very clean and close to the beautiful lake and city centre

We stayed there, 3 adults, a baby and 2 small kids. We had lots of room, it was very clean and close to the beautiful lake and city centre. The only challenging thing for us were weekend nights, where the nearby bars led to noise long into the night, which sometimes caused trouble with the kids' sleep. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay. Communication with the agency was easy and the other residents in the house were very friendly, so we could even leave our baby stroller down by the front door and didn't have to take it upstairs every time.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem sehr gut gelegenen Appartement. Die Lage zwischen dem See mit Wanderwegen und Pyrenäenblick und der Altstadt von Banyoles war optimal. Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig, sehr hell und das Wohnzimmer mit dem Balkon von Licht durchflutet. Die Ausstattung ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. In der Regel war es still, nur am Wochenende kann es auf der Straße wegen einer Bar lauter werden, was die Nachtruhe etwas gestört hat. Sehr gut waren auch die Matratzen der Schlafzimmerbetten. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist problemlos, da sich das Büro nur wenige Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt befindet. Die Umgebung liefert zahlreiche Freizeitmöglichkeiten am und um den See herum.

Wir haben unseren zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren fussläufig zu erreichen. Besonders gefallen hat uns der wöchentliche Markt auf dem Marktplatz direkt an der Unterkunft😊 Wir haben Els Majordoms bereits weiterempfohlen und können uns einen weiteren Aufenthalt gut vorstellen.
