This delightful holiday pod is a great choice for a romantic couples get away, with many pretty villages nearby and within easy reach of the cost. It's located on the grounds of the local favourite pub: The George and Dragon!

Our Holiday Pods are a truly fantastic experience for a perfect holiday or break within easy reach of The George and Dragon for a drink and superb food. We have five Pods available to rent.

Our Five Pods offer a range of sleeping arrangement to suite everyone. Pods 1 – 3 can sleep four people, Pod 4 sleeps up to 2 and Pod 5 sleeps up to 6. Whilst Pod 5 is a 6 birth pod, you can request pod 4, our joining pod for larger families/parties!

Pods 1,2,3 and 5 are single storey, open plan holiday pods and have a living area with Freeview TV, double sofa bed and French doors leading to a garden and decking area complete with hot tub. They all have a lovely Kitchen and Dining area with breakfast bar, hob, microwave and fridge. They also all have a separate bedroom with double bed and a shower room with shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail. Pod 4 is still great but has a few less facilities. Pod 4 now has a Hot Tub!

Electric central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included together with a great welcome pack. The pods have a lawned garden with enclosed decking and garden furniture together with 2-acre landscaped grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking is available for one car.
These pretty and unique holiday pods are situated in a meadow neighbouring the A146 Loddon to Norwich Road, and just a short stroll away from the pub.

Where better to explore Norfolk and Suffolk, within easy reach of historic Norwich, many local market towns and the Norfolk Broads. Centrally situated with good bus links to all these great holiday venues.

Explore the Norfolk Broads by visiting Wroxham and enjoy its riverside cafés, pubs and boating activity where you can hire a boat or take a river trip to explore The Broads, abundant with bird and wildlife. The whole of the neighbouring area is ideal for both walkers and nature lovers and is close to RSPB Strumpshaw Fen.

Many National trust properties are within easy reach.

The pod was lovely and the set up with the pub worked well. Hot tub was perfect, with great onside parking and a lot of out door space available. Bed was very comfortable and the size of the pod was perfect for 2 people. Only downside was the WIFI didnt connect in our pod for the duration of our stay.

We had such a fantastic weekend staying at Dragons Den

We absolutely love staying here, the pod is so clean and tidy, it has everything we need, and the hot tub is such a bonus. Owners are so friendly and the pub food from George and Dragon is just delicious. We are going to be coming back yearly as we love it so much. Location is perfect, lots to do as the pod is in a great location.

Really, really lovely little stay. Stunning little pod, super clean, staff were amazing and friendly

The pod was super clean and actually really spacious for a smaller pod. Shower was perfect, water came out lovely and at the right temperature. Loads of toilet roll was in the cupboard and kitchen stocked with everything you need. We asked for a pan and portable hob and it was brought to our pod with no problems. Staff were so friendly and couldn't of made us feel more welcome. Everything from booking to checking out was so relaxed it was amazing.

We stayed here for one night is Pod 6 and absolutely loved it and wish we could have stayed another night. The pod was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, everything was modern, the bed was so comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and we even had a little garden area with a table and chairs. It was a gorgeous morning the next day so we ordered a breakfast to be delivered from a local cafe and ate that in the garden before we checked out. We will definitely be back 🙂

Slightly disappointed compared to our expectations

The hot tub was great and the food in the pub was good . The heating went couldn't adjust so the pod was a little cold , limescale on the shower walls , hair on a pillow and yellow stains on the mattress and pillow protectors . Think for the money there should be a little more available than 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets as you can stay in a cheaper place and get biscuits etc. Don't think we would stay again unfortunately 😭

Overpriced for what it was

Upon arrival being early the place looked good from the outside. Had a drink in the pub while we waited to get the keys which was a nice place. When we received the keys and got into our pod first impressions was that it was quite basic for the price and only had a couple of tea bags and coffee sachets which is less than we have received in other places we have stayed before . The bathroom door didn't shut properly and the pod was cold and couldn't adjust the heating. The hot tub was a nice touch but still think it didn't warrant the price for the night. Using the fridge the freezer section was full of ice and needed to be defrosted so couldn't use that .Enjoyed the hot tub as we say but found the mattress uncomfortable and affected our sleep and also the bedding was worn. The following morning after stripping the bed as asked the pillows and mattress protestors all had yellow stains on which wasn't nice to see. Unfortunately we won't stay here again
