Crafted from the honey-hued stone that the Cotswolds is known for, Wild Pear Cottage makes for a delightful stay. Forming part of a peaceful row of cottages, it's set in ample green countryside with views of horse paddocks and woodland beyond, not to mention the soft sound of birdsong that weaves around the cottage.
Step inside Wild Pear and you'll instantly benefit from the relaxing ambience of this special spot as you're greeted with a cosy sitting room complete with a crackling wood burner and plump seating. Carefully considered accents, including a quaint sheep footstool, wall art and classic tones elevate this space before it flows through into a bright and airy kitchen from which you can gaze out the window to the serene view. When you're ready to explore more, slink upstairs and you'll find two quintessential bedrooms, perfectly placed for a restful night's sleep after a day of ambling through the hills or hunting for delicious farm shop produce. If you fancy a soak, wander up to the second floor to experience bedroom one, where a marvellous roll top bath lies waiting to be filled with bubbles.
Wild Pear's outdoor space matches the elegance of inside with a regal loggia providing abundant seating and a fire pit nearby for toasting marshmallows. Pop on the BBQ when you feel peckish, pour a glass of wine and relax as the sun sinks over the hills beyond. On street parking is available outside the property, while there's also secure bike storage located in the enclosed area behind the loggia.
