The Old Pantry At Hill Farm

A delightful farm steeped in history and retaining many original features. Set on a hill with fabulous views and cottage gardens to sit and relax in, enjoy a stroll though the many local footpaths. This property has the benefit of a private garden and terrace with table and chairs so you can dine outside too. Inside is traditionally farmhouse with a private kitchen/diner and log burner to create a lovely country atmosphere. The charming bedroom with en suite has seating, wardrobe and TV. The en suite has a modern shower, towel rail and bluetooth speaker mirror to connect your devices to. The kitchen set in the old pantry has everything you need for your stay, gas oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster, crockery & cutlery and a welcome pack for every stay. The on site Farm Shop is open everyday from 9am to 7pm where you will find plenty or produce available.

The Old Pantry was a very cute place to stay in - it was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had a small dog with us and it was nice that he was welcome. We visited in mid-February when it was wet and cold. We were absolutely great inside the cottage, but limited in terms of walks without driving due to the wet fields. We envied the use of the front courtyard which would be great in warmer times. We used the farm shop too to get a few nice jams and eggs to take home.Note that this place is small, but it is nicely quirky and comfortable if you're just using it as a base (when you can't use the outdoor space). We stayed for 2 nights.

Small quaint

It was ideal for two with wood burner and central heating ideal as we had a cold couple of days. Kitchen had everything even a box of fresh eggs from the farm on arrival. Hosts were fantastic answering any queries within in minutes. The property was spotless everywhere and a small table and chairs were available if you have better weather than I’d.ideal location would definitely book again

The accommodation was as described in a very quiet setting. The hosts were very informative and they provided good recommendations. The shower was one of the best we have experienced. The kitchen had almost everything you needed for two people as there was two of any utensils. This is absolutely fine until you are in need of a third item with two already in use it's a little frustrating, perhaps more cutlery would be the answer. Taking this all into account we had a very relaxing stay. The little farm shop is a bonus if you fancy a coffee to go or eggs for breakfast, together with tubs of ice cream. The weather was beautiful and I think this helps any short break.Unfortunately we would not return because as a couple who like to travel, we never visit the same place twice. I would certainly recommend this property too others
