These guys were wonderful! They were here a few days during Bike Week. Lots of fun, very respectful of the place and even updated our Wifi! I hope we see them again.

Hendrick was back for another week this year (2015) and we really enjoy this family. They are respectful of our property, polite and easy to talk too. I hope to see them again.

Phyllis and her sisters have been coming to Crystal Acres for several years. They are just so much fun to have around with their family dinners (all 3 picnic tables go together nicely, thank you) and training sessions which are continuous for their mini Triathlon they run the Friday of their rental week. There is tons of loving family bantering and competitions which are a riot and this year started on Facebook! We loving having them come back every year.

I'm so sorry our dog made you uncomfortable, and truly saddened that we gave you the impression she is aggressive. She is a mix of several breeds (one of which is possibly pit) and is elderly. She is not used to small children and has been sick, so we were only recommending that you give her space and try not to startle her. We always keep her leashed or tied, and when we realized you were uncomfortable we brought her inside. Regarding the rental of sheets/towels, this is absolutely in the rental agreement (which you verified reading when you booked with us). It is traditional for a housekeeping cottage in this area for people to bring their own sheets and towels. We have very few guests who rent them, and you are absolutely welcome to bring your own when you return to save yourself that expense. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time here otherwise.

These people were so much fun and so easy to have around. The adults as well as the kids all hit it off which made it extra nice for all of us. Plus they left the cottage in wonderful condition. Hard to do with 3 children 5 and under!! Look forward to having them back.

These renters were a lot of fun and we certainly enjoyed their stay. They and their grandchildren really seemed to enjoy themselves. I was very surprised by these comments. After the first night they were here, she asked me if they were too noisy. I did tell her that sound carries. However, the noise was not from playing cards on the lakeside porch, it was on the driveway side while they were outside smoking and on their phones after 10:00. Our concern was for our other guests who had commented. Not for ourselves. There ARE locks on the doors. I'm sorry she didn't see them and wish she had told me. I don't remember her doing that. There are sliding bolt locks for the inside and pad locks for the outside. I apologize for any odor she noticed from the water. Again, we were unaware of this since no one else, including our cleaning crew, has ever mentioned it and I've never noticed it myself. We encourage our guests to let us know when they have a problem. Concerning the spiders...We do occasionally have big spiders outside the cottages. We sweep them down regularly. Most families tell us the kids are fascinated and it's not a problem. Again, if it is a problem, we sweep them more often. Spraying is very toxic and we would never do that especially when there are children and pets around. We can not address concerns our guests may have if they are not brought to our attention. I am sincerely sorry these folks had these problems.

These people were wonderful guests even though it rained most of the week! We thoroughly enjoyed them and their dogs were very well behaved. The cottage they were in is the only one that IS insolated and fairly sound proofed but with windows and doors open....Anyway it was a wonderful week.

We truly enjoy this family. They are respectful of the property and fun to have a round. I look forward to seeing them again.

This family was a lot of fun and were wonderful guests. They were very friendly, respectful of the property and my grand daughter enjoyed having their daughter as a playmate. We look forward to having them back again.

These folks had been here a few years back and we were so happy to see them come back. Friendly, considerate and just easy and fun to have around. I certainly would welcome them back anytime.

We loved these people! They were so much fun and considerate and their girls are adorable. As she said her girls had fun with my grandkids especially the 5 year old. She had her sister visit with her girls, just as much fun, and her Mom is someone I'd like to get to know better! We will welcome them back. Perfect renters.

Dave, Susan and his family were so much fun to have here. We only wished their daughter, hubby and grandkids could have stayed longer. We hope to see them again soon.

The Meyers have been coming for 6 years and the summer wouldn't be complete without them. They come with friends who take the other 2 cottages and thoroughly enjoy the lake, shuffleboard and beach. They also set up badminton. Then there's flashlight tag at night and who knows what else! Lots of kids that week, lots of fun!
