This cabin was a comfortable & beautiful home away from home, and the owner was helpful with recommendations and so accommodating. It is centrally located to the Cataloochie Ski area (our kids had a blast, recommend to make reservations early) as well as Biltmore. We also enjoyed a short hike to see Soco Falls, and lunch at Butts on the Creek (DELICIOUS!). The kitchen is well stocked with anything you would need to cook at home, and about 15 minutes from the grocercy store.

Great Cabin!

This was a great, clean cabin close to Waynesville with a nice view of the mountains from the front porch. We enjoyed the picnic table on the front porch and the overall “mountainy” aesthetic of the cabin. Great stay!

Amazing Cabin!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Pat & Jeri’s cabin. It was a very nice and comfortable home with a beautiful view of the mountains and easy access to the ski slopes. The hosts are very responsive and very friendly!

Fall getaway

Wonderful spot to get away and see the fall colors. The cabin was conveniently located to go hiking, see the elk in the Great Smokies, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had more than enough space and enjoyed the deck and fire pit.

We came up for his just a night and it was everything we needed. Location was a little interesting but nonetheless, we still felt like we were secluded. Enjoyed nighttime sitting on front porch listening to the creek rolling. Would recommend to anyone and will rent again.

Quiet cabin retreat

We very much enjoyed the cabin and outside fire pit. The host was very helpful with helping us with early check in and when we had vehicle troubles. He had neighbors come help us. The driveway was a challenge for our full dress touring bikes but we made it work. The amenities in the cabin were great! Overall we loved our experience and the rides around the Smoky Mountains was awesome!

So Little time - So Much Fun !!!!!

Beautiful " Cabin " - Very well equipped, with every thing needed. The Scenery was beautiful - got stunning sunrise photo's. Unfortunately, view from the kitchen window is not something you can do much about. Very relaxing and fun time with our daughter and grandsons - lot's of corn hole challenges !

Good weekend away

The cabin was beautiful! The beds are more like doubles, but they sleep great. The fact that they have all the pots and pans for their guests is just amazing. The view is gorgeous and we loved sitting on the porch and just enjoying the mountains. We weren't able to to enjoy the firepit because it was raining. Unfortunately, the cleaning fee is the same whether you stay for 1 night or 7 nights. Along with the cleaning fee, you have to take your trash with you, but there is nowhere to throw it away on a Sunday. We only stayed one night, but it was a nice getaway.

Caira, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We strive to give our guests all the amenities they request and deserve. The fire pit is amazing at night with the sound of the stream and the stars. Hopefully on your next visit the weather will cooperate. The views from the porch are certainly breathtaking and very relaxing. Unfortunately all of Haywood Counties trash facilities are closed on Sunday. We recommend disposing of as much trash on Saturday as you can and the remainder can be disposed of at a convenience store or gas station on your way out of town. Cabin is fantastic.. But...

The cabin is awesome.. and all the amenities are fantastic.. but if you ride a motorcycle it's not so fun.. the driveway is terrible ( it is a shared driveway ).. and getting up to the cabin is not fun.. the other thing that is a problem is you have to take your trash with you when you leave.. You are to take it to the county dumpsters.. that are NOT open on Fridays.. How do you do that on a motorcycle? Owners should make it easier in that respect ( especially when they know in advance that the guests are coming in on motorcycles ) but other than that I would definitely recommend that rental..

We are so glad that you enjoyed the cabin and all of its amenities. Our guests have given us great feedback over the years, which has enabled us to add so many amenities that make your experience better. While all the roads leading to the cabin our state maintained and paved, the short stretch of gravel roadway on Warm Cove leading to our driveway has to be graded several times of year, especially after heavy rains. Haywood County does not offer trash pick up. We list this in our welcome packet along with two of the county collection sites which are less than 10 minutes from the cabin. I can certainly see how this could be difficult if you are on motorcycles and we will get this issue addressed for future guests. As for the collection sites, they are only closed on Sundays. Not sure why the one you went to was not open on a Friday.

Great Cabin In The Smokies

If you're looking for warm cabin get-a-way this is the place. We enjoyed Christmas with our family there for a week. They had everything we needed for a nice, comfortable stay in the smokies!
