The building dates back to the 1800s, and during the restoration, great emphasis was placed on preserving its historical charm with original details and replicated windows from the construction period. The apartments feature oak parquet floors, Huseby kitchens, elegant bathrooms, and are furnished in a modern Scandinavian style. When you enter, you will use original stairs and handrails that have been well-preserved for nearly 150 years. All apartments have either a spacious balcony, a private rooftop terrace, or access to charming seating areas in the lush and secluded backyard. Very comfortable flat. We enjoyed the rooftop patio. The larger room could use a fan, it got a bit stuffy. Very clean and quiet!

Astoundingly good place

This penthouse apartment is bright, large, and in a perfect location. Shops, cafes, restaurants, parks, and trams are five minutes away. There was some noise from the park on the weekend but it was midsummer! The rooftop deck is perfect. Would stay again tomorrow. It is on the top floor but it’s all perfectly doable. Service and attention to any requests was perfect. Thanks!!

Excellent location in a quiet residential neighborhood right by a lovely park, tram stop, and easy walk to the train station, and other neighborhoods of Oslo. You do need to climb stairs to reach the top floor where this apartment is located. Views from the windows are great and there's a balcony with stairs that lead up to a terrace which is really nice too! As for the apartment, it's spacious with three sleeping spaces in two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a comfortable living room. The ceilings are sloped so some spaces are unusable and the kitchen is minimal. We were missing items like towels and soap, but when I messaged the host, the housekeeping team dropped some off promptly. Enjoyed our short stay and wish we could have spent more time exploring Oslo.

We liked this flat overall. Our biggest issue is that there are 66 stairs to get to the top and this was not disclosed. This made it very hard with all of our luggage as we are traveling Europe for three weeks and have a lot of suitcases. The Wi-Fi was not great, very slow and practically unusable. Do not count on steady Internet service. The neighborhood was great, great walking distance to many areas of the city.
