Porch Light Hospitality présente The Cottage. Construit en 1933 comme bâtiment de stockage de parpaings rouges, The Cottage a été utilisé pour le stockage jusqu’à sa transformation en 2009 en maison d’hôtes privée. Le chalet bénéficie de la sensation originale d'un bâtiment historique avec le charme du confort moderne. Une caractéristique principale de la conception est la baignoire sur le dessus de la chambre principale séparée du lit king-size par un foyer au gaz double face en briques rouges. La cour extérieure privée utilise un luminaire en cuivre du début des années 1900 pour la douche extérieure, le bain à remous privé, le foyer, la télévision et des stores solaires personnalisés. I am so leery about "hospitality groups" as hosts but this one exceeded all expectations!.They went above and beyond to make it comfortable and welcoming. Nice, quiet location, super cute cottage, hot tub, fireplace with tub, coffee bar-- we loved it all! We'd return to any of their properties in a heartbeat!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Close to downtown shopping, restaurants, etc.. Everything about the cottage was as described. Will recommend to friends and will stay there again soon.

Anniversary get away

Nice, peaceful setting away from the downtown area which we loved. Enjoyed the private area with the hot tub and patio. Bed was super comfortable with lovely linens. Would suggest adding a few chairs to the back of the property to sit and enjoy the wooded area, just beautiful!

Excellent Customer Service

The property was beautiful and quiet, yet close to down town area. Perfect spot for a couple getaway. There was an issue when we checked in with the hot tub, but we contacted support. They responded quickly.The issue was fixed quickly, without any disruption to our stay. Thanks. Would stay here again.

Quiet, Unique, & Cozy

We thought this property to be very quiet, cozy, and certainly unique. The owner seems to have put a lot of thought in to the layout of the property with the other homes and the way they are set up. We really enjoyed the gas-log fireplace in the bedroom since it was rather chilly the couple of days we were in Fredericksburg. Unfortunately we did not get to use the hot tub as a result of the outside weather. The property is located on the outskirts of town on what used to be an old homestead, so there is not a lot of commercial or retail activity right down the street. We liked that aspect because it kept the surroundings quiet. I think we would definitely stay again in the Cottage or at one of the other houses on the property --- I think the Pumphouse or the Barn would be next on our list.

Classy and comfortable!

We loved our stay here here. We had everything we needed, and it was just beautiful! We only had one night here (I wish it was two!) so we made sure to enjoy everything! The hot tub in our private courtyard was fun, and we made a little fire too, and enjoyed our show streaming while in the hot tub. The courtyard was also a secure place to park our ebikes, which was a great bonus. The shower was immaculate and the standing tub with the fireplace was just beautiful! That tub is huge too! I slept like a baby in that bed, extremely comfortable. They whole place was so immaculately clean, it seemed brand new.

Loved it

Such a cute, tucked away quiet place to stay. We booked for our 20 year anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. We only had one issue with the lights coming on outside but that didn't stop us from enjoying the time out there before it got too dark.
