This was an excellent rental property. The host was amazing to work with, willing to go above and beyond to make sure our guys had what they needed. She was quick to respond and extend our reservation. The house was as designed with plenty of room for everyone. If we return to the area, we'll definitely keep this spot saved.

Always a great time

This is our fifth year staying at Wicker Moose. We had stayed at another home for six years before finding this gem. We plan on many more years to come.

Perfect for Our Group

A spacious, comfortable home with lots of amenities. Very convenient for Apple Hill or local wineries. Ideal for our group of 4 couples and a single. We hope to be back.

Family Wine Tasting Nevada Day Weekend

This house was perfect for our family of 7. We definitely could have fit more people. It was modern, clean and cozy. The hosts are great and respond quickly. We hope to visit again in the future.

The host was extremely easy to communicate with and provide prompt responses. She went over and above to help our crews out, even with a date extension. We had a mid-stay clean that was accommodated with no issues. This was the perfect place for our crews to come home to after a long day. We would book here again. Everything is as described and pictured.

Wicker Moose Manor has character

Wicker Moose Manor was the ideal spot for our stay with extended family. The property was as advertised (better than advertised really). My elderly parents stayed in the upstairs rooms while the kids and others kept their fun downstairs. It was truly ideal for our winter family visit. Jackie does a wonderful job in letting her guests feel at home and providing character to create "Wicker Moose Manor". Highly recommend

Loaded with extras

We used this place as a family hub for a wedding. Four family entities plus kids roamed the place without feeling crowded. There is a great game room, it’s well stocked for cooking and the management gives good directions and is flexible. I highly recommend if you’re in the Placerville area.

Excellent place to stay with lots to do in the area!

This property is perfect for 5 couples or big families with teenagers. Fantastic game room and lots of room to cook and enjoy each other conversation. Steep downstairs with 3 bedrooms with game room. 2 nice bedrooms upstairs. Enjoy the house with our family for our daughter’s wedding near by. *****

Spacious and comfortable

My family and I stayed here for my daughter's wedding. There is a lot of room. Everything is as the pictures show. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and communicated promptly.Plenty of parking if you have a lot of cars too. We only had 4 cars but there was room for at least 2 more. . We will definitely stay here again if we are coming to the area.

Great place for a family gathering!

Rented this house for a wedding weekend for family to gather and stay. Plenty of space for everyone and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. We did a lot of food prep there for the wedding and the kitchen area was PERFECT for everyone to be able to pitch in and help without being in each other's way! And the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The host, Jackie, was very welcoming and even kept us informed of activities in the area that may have impacted our treks to and from the wedding venue, which was VERY helpful as it turned out! (thanks again Jackie!) We all had a Great time together at the house and agreed we would Definitely like to come back again for a longer stay!

MOST AMAZING HOUSE AND HOST

This house is 11/10! It is super clean, well stocked, and HUGE!! I rented this place for my wedding weekend. I wanted to give my wedding party a place to stay all together if they wanted to stay. We had 10-12 people on different nights and we still had a lot of space! Our family and other friends stopped by to say hi during the day while we got ready for the wedding and it still didn’t feel crowded. The downstairs level is sooooo cool! It was the best hangout spot! Not only was the house amazing but Jackie is THE BEST! She is super responsive, the SWEETEST person and great at explaining/answering my dumb questions lol!! I would 100% recommendation this place for your stay! Thank you again Jackie! You made my wedding weekend amazing!

Excellent spot for extended family visit

We had a lovely long weekend, and were especially impressed with all the well-equipped kitchen (not the norm for rental properties) that had baking sheets, casserole dishes, and sharp knives! The game room was especially fun for our mixed-age group. Would definitely stay here again.

Best location for us.

We have been coming to Apple Hill every year for over 25 years. This property fits us like a glove. Convenient location and very professional people looking after this property make this one a winner on all counts. Second time here and already looking forward to next year.

Pollock Pines Stay

This home has many sleeping spaces and accommodates a large group. Jackie was great at communicating during our stay and treated us with a cold beverage . House needs some repairs and work done.

Perfect place

Such a perfect home for a big family or friends & family. It has a game room downstairs and a ton of beds to fit a lot of people. I stayed there because my wedding was in camino. The host was friendly and responsive. She let us check in early and she even brought us a congratulatory bottle of hard cider. Thank you for the awesome stay!

The house was in a great location, close to town and freeway is near by. The home was very clean and nice. The property owner was great and very detailed, the communication was fantastic. My family enjoyed the home and we all had a great time. We definitely will be back again!

Moose Love.

We have been coming to Apple Hill yearly for 30 years. This is the best property we have stayed at. Very family friendly layout. Will be our go to from now on.

Family getaway

This family weekend getaway was nothing short of amazing!! From my initial contact with Jackie she was very informative of the location, activities and local things to do. Jackie told me places to go, places to eat at and her experience with rafting as that was our big activity for the weekend. The house was a perfect fit for our large family. It has everything you would need and more! Jackie made it very comfortable for us! She not only provided an informative book that answered every question you may have upon arriving but she was also available during our whole stay making sure any question we had she answered. Jackie made our stay perfect I will definitely be back!! This location will meet the needs for anyone it was great with an amazing owner!
