This is a beautifully designed space that can easily accommodate 4-6 people comfortably. We were pleasantly surprised by the size, considering Paris can have smaller spaces. The building itself was beautiful and check in was simple. The location is great! Perfect for shopping in the opera, and access to most of the major museums. Highly recommend this apartment!

Excellent Apartment

We stayed for 5 days, family of 5, teenagers and 2 adults. The location was fantastic, could walk to most major site and easily get to a Metro. The apartment was exactly as it appeared in the listing - very accurate. It was clean, comfortable and a great place to sleep and hangout. There was a shortage of toilet paper and garbage bags, so we had to purchase a few things, but that was not a big deal. I would absoutely stay in this property again!

The apartment is spacious and very well located. It was generally clean and everything was in good working order, although the living room rug could use a shampoo. The air conditioning worked great everywhere in the apartment except in the first floor bedroom, which did not seem to have any air vents or separate cooling system. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room because he was so hot in the night. In addition, the apartment smelled strongly of mildew, and the bathrooms had a different, foul odor. The biggest downside of the apartment was the management company. We alerted them several times starting the day we checked in about the smell, the AC issue in the bedroom, and the fact that there were no instructions for any of the appliances and we couldn’t figure out how to use the induction cooktop. Despite sending back replies that they were “at our service” and that we should let them know if there was “anything we needed,” when we actually asked for service and told them what was needed they either didn’t respond or, when I finally got someone to respond, acted as though they couldn’t possibly be expected to know how to work the cooktop in the apartment or how to fix the AC issues. They said they would send someone to check on the smell, and I did notice a scent diffuser in one of the bathrooms that I had seen earlier, so maybe they did send someone. They never followed up with us, however. The CMG team was, across the board, dismissive of our concerns and they did nothing to fix the fairly significant issues with this quite expensive apartment. The apartment itself needs a bit of maintenance and then will be a great place to stay in a fantastic location. I’m afraid the management company probably can’t be helped. I will avoid them everywhere we travel from now on.

The apartment is in the Japanese neighborhood of Paris, which gave an interesting mix of restaurants to chose from. It is also within easy walking distance of the Louvre. It is up one tall flight of stairs from the ground floor level. There were a few details that could have been better: (1) The stairs to the loft bedroom were very narrow (something between a ladder and stairs). (2) The bedroom on the main level is not a king-sized bed (queen, probably), and that bedroom does not have air conditioning. We had to purchase fans and leave the door open to pull in cold air from the rest of the apartment. It might not matter usually, but it was very hot when we were in Paris. (3) There was a sewer smell from the bathrooms, so we had to keep those doors shut.

The apartment is spacious and in a fantastic location. Generally everything is in good working order, although the air conditioning was not working in the main floor bedroom during our stay, resulting in my husband sleeping on the living room couch. Also, the apartment had a strong odor of mildew - perhaps from condensation associated with the air conditioning, which was running throughout our visit, as it was hot in Paris. The biggest downside to the apartment is the management company the owners use. They were completely uninterested in our questions and requests, ignored us, acted as though our requests were ridiculous (like when we asked if they had a manual or instructions for how to use the induction cooktop, as there were no instructions at the apartment, and the response we got was essentially that we should google it), and if they tried to fix either the AC or smell issues while we were there, we don’t know, as they never followed up. Check in and check out were smooth; the management company is a disaster. It’s too bad, because with a bit of maintenance I think the apartment would be great.
