Apt is in a great location. But, be aware of:- the listing is managed by a company and there is no way to get a hold of anybody if you need anything- the sheets were dirty and used on two beds out of three and couldn’t get a hold of the host or the manager to get new ones- when they refer to apartment having an AC, they are actually talking about Floor fans.- there are signs posted everywhere about being quiet because there is a family with a young child underneath the apartment that can hear any type of movement coming from this apartment. The lady living in the apartment underneath made sure she introduced herself and told us not to flush the toilet or open the windows or move the curtains or walk after 8 PM when the sun goes down at 10pm.

This is a lovely apartment in a great location. I was concerned that I did not hear from the host with any details until the day of the rental. Also immediately upon entering we had a knock on the door from the people living below asking us to please be quiet at night so as not to disturb their son. This was not a problem for us but could be for others so I think this is important to know before you rent. Overall though this is a nice, clean VRBO.

Unfortunately this property wasn’t what we were expecting. Checking in was very difficult. We were on the phone with customer service for approximately 1hour in sweltering heat before we obtained all the necessary information to get into the unit. Once inside, the unit was much smaller than it appeared in the listing. It was extremely hot in the unit and we were unable to open the windows and window coverings were not large enough to provide adequate privacy or block out the sun. There weren’t enough water glasses for 4 people and three fans were provided to cool an apartment where the temperature exceeded 100 degrees. Unfortunately we could not stay in the unit due to extreme heat and inadequate ventilation and needed to rent a hotel room.

Instructions were easy to follow and where we stayed was fantastic, 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower! We felt very safe walking around anytime of the day or night. Accommodations were lovely, beds comfortable and clean. We didn’t need to get supplies for everyday use as these were supplied. Location easy to find restaurants. Having two bedrooms and 2 couples worked well and it was quiet. Hosts were great with easy communication

Great location to experience life with the locals, with the convenience of restaurants and bars just 3mins walk away and could see the Eiffel Tower one street away in the distance. Several notes/warnings about respecting neighbours as old building and noise travels through downstairs easy, but we weren’t there to party so no problem for us. Would def book again.

The place great location walking distance to everything, very clean and comfortable. I did remember reading a review about lady coming to the door and asking to be very quiet because the building is very thin and she has a son that hears everything. We arrived at 9 pm and the lady came to our door right away introduced herself and explained about the noise in the building and if we can respect the rules. That threw us off a bit right at the start knowing we are here for a holiday. We were not people that would party but when you go out for supper which could be a later time. I also found the host didn't reach out til the day you arrive which worried me in case we didn't get a place that was legit.

The downstairs neighbour knocked our door within a couple of minutes as we moved in the room after a long flight in the middle of the night. She politely warned us not to make any noise in the room, to watch our steps, closing doors, etc because she has a 6 year old son who wakes up even in a little noise. We were tired after the journey and a bit shocked to get such an in person warning as soon as we moved in. All through our holiday, we tried to stay in the room at the minimum and when we were eventually in at night, we walked in our socks, whispered to each other and lifted the chairs instead of pulling, etc. Also there are warnings on the walls to keep the noise in minimum because of the neighbour. We have 2 grown up children who are quiet but even with them, keeping the noise at minimum in a small space with 4 people was a challenge. I would not advise this accommodation for families with young children, teens or groups with more than 4 persons. Apart from this situation, the room was alright, the staff were helpful, checking in and out was easy.

First, for the positive: the location was great. It made walking to the Eiffel Tower, and Invalides very easy. The place was also very clean.Now for the not so great things: there is a clothes washer, but no dryer, or even a drying rack for clothes. This proved difficult. There are radiators for heat all throughout the unit, but no way to turn them on, so the unit was quite cold throughout our stay. Upon arrival, after the posted check in time, the cleaner was still there, making us wait in the hall as they finished.Lastly, the bad: our first day in the unit, we had just arrived back at the unit after walking around the area. We had probably only been in the unit for 3-5 minutes, when the door buzzer sounded. I opened the door to fin a woman standing there, bearating me for "being loud". We had only just walked in. She stated she lived below, and had a child and she wanted to come in to our unit so that she could show us how it sounded. Absolutely nobody was loud.we were simply entering and setting our belongings down. There are signs outside and inside the unit stating that quiet hours are from 10pm until 8am.this happened at 8pm after coming back from dinner. Being expected to tiptoe through the apartment for 4 days became quite stressful. I think that this is something that should be noted in the listing, as it very negatively impacted our stay. This would not be a good place for a family with children.

Any of the positive reviews for this property have to be bogus. I have never had such a horrible experience with such a misrepresentation of a property. From the pictures, you think you’re getting a spacious beautiful , modern, well equipped two bedroom apt, not the case. The check-in was horrendous. They gave me the code for the front door, but that’s as far as it went. There was another code to get the key to get into the apartment. I received no information and we stood in the sweltering 100 degrees trying to get a hold of customer service who just gave me a runaround instead of giving me the code. When we finally got into the unit OMG what a dump. Floor to the ceiling windows in all rooms that would not open and the window coverings provided no privacy and no protection from the blazing sun and only covered approximately a fourth of the window. There was one water glass, for 4 people and three fans, of which one did not work, for the 100 degrees. I called customer service to express dissatisfaction on how badly it was misrepresented and the unit was uninhabitable in its present condition and asked to be moved to another unit, but they would not do that nor offer a refund. We left and didn’t even stay there. Please don’t be fooled at this list.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen, nur wenige Schritte vom Eiffelturm entfernt, mit mehreren kleinen Supermärkten in der Nähe und drei ausgezeichneten Restaurants direkt vor der Tür. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, alle Angaben in der Anzeige stimmten, und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das einzige nennenswerte Problem war die Nachbarin, die sich nur fünf Minuten nach unserer Ankunft beschwerte und behauptete, sie könne unsere Schritte hören – was angesichts des Alters des Gebäudes verständlich ist. Es ist jedoch schlicht unmöglich, in der Wohnung nicht herumzulaufen oder einen Stuhl oder ein Möbelstück zu verrücken. Sie fing auch an, gegen etwas zu hämmern, offenbar um zu signalisieren, dass sie Geräusche hörte, was ziemlich störend war.

Die Lage ist ideal, leicht zu finden und in der Nähe der Metro, des Eiffelturms und vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ich war mit meiner Familie dort und wir waren sehr zufrieden.
