However, we kindly ask that future reviews focus on the actual experience rather than unsubstantiated accusations. We firmly reject any implication that someone entered the apartment during your stay or that our cleaning staff took the iPad. These are serious claims without any evidence, and they are not acceptable. An iPad has built-in Find My iPad functionality, remote lock, and GPS tracking. Leaving such a device behind and expecting it to simply disappear without any trace is highly unusual, especially since these devices are designed precisely to be recoverable. We strongly recommend using these features in the future. The only remotely possible scenario (which we consider highly improbable) is that the device was mistakenly left behind and taken by the next guests. In any case, responsibility for this falls solely with Mrs. Avis: you checked out at 9:00 AM and only contacted us at 17:00, several hours later. By that time the new guests had already checked in and were resting after a long international flight. We immediately asked them to check, but nothing was found. Furthermore i personally checked every corner of the house the next day and nothing has been found. We take the security and honesty of our property very seriously and have never had similar issues in the past.
